    • Great value, unique bike
There aren't many girl's bikes with shifters at this size. It's well built. It took me a while to get it put together and adjusted (three hours or so) but once finished it shifts very well and the brakes work well. Only issues are that it's heavy, and hard to shift. The weight would be mitigated by the shifters except our daughter can't shift it down to go uphill, so we have to shift it for her. There's really no way to fix this without changing shifters which I'm not about to do. So my daughter is working on her hand strength and can shift down to 2 or 3 usually. She's 6 years old. This bike is the absolute max size she can safely ride so it should last for years to come. The heavy weight is because it's all steel build, which is why the price point is so good. I don't mind a steel bike but you do need to take care to lubricate and protect it a bit or rust will become an issue with time. Other than that I don't think you'll find a better value shifter bike at this size, especially for girls. ... show more

The bike ride great but I’m 5’3 an my feet are barely touching the ground I lowered the seat to the lowest setting an I still feel like I’m up too high also the bike is really heavy for me it almost fell on me twice an i think the handle bars are on backwards

Prepare to pay more to readjust gears and brakes. Had difficulties changing gears from M(edium) to L(ow) and from 2 to 1. Since the twist shifter is on the grips. You inadvertently change gears every 3 seconds. Poor design. Bottom bracket protector is made of of plastic. It broke off on the first ride. The frame is still intact. So, 3 stars. ... show more

    • Good Value for price, but ...
This is a nice simple bike at a great price. However the box came damaged and upon assembly, realized that one nut for the front wheel was missing. I immediately contacted the seller and informed that the washer and nut for the front axle were missing. They responded quickly and emailed me only the washer. So I had to contact them again and clarify that they forgot to send the nut. They immediately sent the nut. However I lost 2 weeks in getting these parts. Talking about the quality of the bike, the front brake adjustment took some effort and watching YouTube videos to figure out. It is not pre-tuned as they claim. some of the parts such as the stand, the pedal foot rests are not well greased and are a bit stiff. The instructions manual takes a little bit of reading and re-reading. Overall I will say if you are handy and patient, this is a decent bike and a decent seller and overall a good value for the price. ... show more

    • Lots of mechanical work needed before riding
Bought the 20 inch girls Cavern model. Came well packaged. Before assembly, I found that the front wheel wouldn't spin. Had to loosen the over tightened bearings and grease them. Then found that the steering stem wouldn't turn; bearings were overtightened and had to loosen and grease them. Next I found that the crankset wouldn't spin; again, overtightened bearings with no grease. Seems as though King Kong works at the factory assembling bicycles. Once it was rolling, I found that the derailleur was not adjusted and it only had the top 2 gears. Once adjusted, all the gears worked. I gave it 3 stars, but could have gotten 5 if I didn't have to spend so much time fixing factory errors. Also, the manufacture date on the box was April, 2015. I bought it March 1, 2023. New, but old stock. If you're not able to fix or adjust things, this is not a bike for you. Wife likes it now that it's useable. ... show more

Bought it as a present for my kid and she really likes it too bad she had to wait to ride it because it was sent with a bad tire. Not matter how much we pumped it up the air just wouldn’t stay. When I contacted company about getting a replacement tire I was informed that I couldn’t get another tire. They wanted me to send the entire bike back. It just wasn’t worth the hassle and I ended up just going to the store to buy a new one. ... show more

Amazon re-ordered due to lost order. When it arrived it looked great except the pre-assembled parts seemed a bit off. I took it to a local professional bicycle shop, but someone with experience could do it confidently on their own. Daughter loves bike!

This is beautiful bike and my daughter liked it.Only bad part is this bike require 3 different Allen keys to assemble and seller did not provide any. If you buy 25$ scooter that also gives allen key with it. I gave 3 star because of that as i had to go out to shop for assembling this.
