I love this gym ring kit! I bought the larger options with a capacity of up to 1,500 lbs (advertised). My entire family could hang on these together. I bought this one for the larger ring size. The actual benefit of that, as far as I can see, is that centrifugal force generated from any swinging will be tolerated by this ring set. The straps are easy to set up. I have mind mounted on my Iron Gym pull up bar. I really like the length adjustability and the fact that the straps are marked with lengths. That way I can quickly adjust them to equal lengths and put them were I used them for my exercises. For example, I used them at 6 feet for dips while my daughter used them at 2 feet for leg lifts. With the markings, I can quickly and easily adjust them to where they need to be with minimal interruption. I don’t use the grip tape, because the rings are sanded smooth enough for me. As far as people having trouble with slippage and threading the belts through the buckles, just FOLLOW THE WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED. There is a clear drawing showing which direction to thread the belts. I’ve never had any slippage. For reference, I weigh 200 lbs. If customers complaining of the belts slipping had made you avoid this, DON’T. It’s safe. Just follow the instructions. If you find them confusing check YouTube or ask a friend who has mechanical aptitude. It’s not hard, though, you can get it from the pictures. I have no regrets buying this and highly recommend it. The variety of exercises you can do with this is wild and this can replace other equipment. Yes, I still use weights, these rings can act as a dips station, a pull up station, an abdominals station. It’s not every day where you order something online and it exceeds your expectations. I can not stress enough, the quality and overall design of this product. There’s to much crap out there that a lot of times the real items that shine go unnoticed. This is one of those products. I was amazed how much thought was put into this simple product. 1 It was packaged well. 2 The strap is thicker than a car seat belt. 3 The buckle is made of metal with high quality paint. 4 The wood rings are built in such a way that there isn’t a seam to fail. 5 The grips it comes with are great and very grippy. 6 The price is very reasonable I won’t ramble on but just wanted to shout out this company and product. Almost a year now and still holding up well. The grip wrap didn’t last very long but the wood is smooth enough that you don’t really need the tape. I use as my primary workout 4 days a week and no issues yet.

Rings are from good quality and same goes for the buckle! I love the numbered straps, makes it much easier to adjust height. The straps are also very long so it good for high places, the add on of the grip is nice, has some resemblance to tennis grips, which you can buy for cheap and change when they go bad, although the ring is smooth and you don't need to use those if you don't like. The only downside is that it is not written that standard rings are 28mm (which is what they use in the Olympics) and I got the 32mm, can be useful in some situations depending on the exercise, The 32mm is good for those with big hands, otherwise get the 28mm. I'm 6' and currently between 287-291lb. My buddy had another brand he used at his place which got me into using Gym Rings for body weight workouts. But when I went to order them, the other brand was out, with no date to be back in stock. Decided to roll the dice on these. So far I have been very happy with them. I don't put my full body weight but I either lean back or forward to do body weight exercises. Lean forward: Tri's, Fly's, Chest (push-up at an angle), Calves. Lean backward: Bi's, Shoulders, Rows, Quads Seems to hold me great. And it's beyond awesome to have a home gym already in place, ready to go. I don't have to gather a bunch of equipment, or drive to a gym, or go through elaborate routines, or get dressed in special clothes. The darn thing is just there all the time. If I walk past it, I can bust out a set of 10 or what have you reps. Then I can throw breakfast on the stove on a low heat setting, come back and bust the 2nd set out. I can lay out my work clothes for the day, go bust out my last set. Or if I'm too tired/not enough time I can bust out one or two in the morning and come back at night and finish it when I walk in the door. And they are highly portable, I could take them to the beach and hook up to a tree or something. Overall this is an awesome and inexpensive investment for those who need physical activity, and for those like me whose body weight would stop them from doing many other things. Or those who live in congested cities and loathe driving to get to desired exercise spots. Two rings up for this one ... show more
