I got this for my 3 year old to practice on between her weekly gymnastics classes. It's very sturdy. I can even raise the bar high enough for my tall 7 year old son to do the same flips on it. This bar is very sturdy and it can work for children anywhere from 3yo-11yo. I would not buy for a tall 11yo because they may grow out of it quickly but to share between siblings will work. I was nervous it wouldn’t be sturdy but I weigh 117lb and tested it out with a few flips. It worked great, no wobbles! I use a nice thick matt with it and it has been a fun and safe activity. Shipping was fast, it was very easy to assemble with just a few screws. It doesn't seem that sturdy when putting it together but seems good when the kids are on it. The reason I don't give 5 stars is because this is the first Amazon product I've recieved that appears used/returned -- the zip ties were already cut when we opened the box, the screws were in a bag inside the opened bag, and there are a few paint chips exposing the bronze metal underneath. But those issues don't generally impact the product, and overall we are pleased with it regardless of those minor issues. ... show more

Our grandkids, ages 3 and 1, LOVE this thing! We have adjusted the bar low enough for them to pull up and swing all by themselves. We put a mat under it for a little extra cushion. It is so great to have a physical activity for them that can be used indoors in a relatively small space. It is fun to see the kids getting stronger and more flexible while playing on it.
