So far, in the winter, this is lasting well. The smell was very strong at first, and we had to put it in another room. The smell is not like i thought it would be, and would likely not choose it again. We saw these reed diffusers all over Scotland on our last trip, and wanted to try them here. I have had this for a week or so and I have been trying to see if it smells--I've flipped the reeds over to see if maybe they need to be soaked or I was doing something wrong, and I can detect almost no smell unless I put my nose up to the bottle.
