The first set receievd had such a strong perfume smell out of the box I have not yet gotten to where they are usable. Seller kindly sent a new set that had some low level smell but not strong out of the box (maybe 25-30% of the first set) When the OYT pillows arrived, I recommend airing them out for 4-7 days or more to get rid of any smell. The manufacturer recommended washing the whole pillow. I do not advise this. I did that to one of the smelly pillows received; it still smelled after washing, though not as strong. The front load washer had difficulty spinning and removing water as the new pillow is so dense. So it was quite wet when I put it in the dryer with 2 towels. I tried drying in dryer for over 4 hours, but it was still very wet inside (press down on sides). I have been since air drying it out sitting on a towel and flipping it daily. It took over a month to complete the drying process fully. I ended up by taking all the stuffing out and drying it in a laundry basket. I added 2 containers of Damp Rid to help absorb the moisture. See picture. Again do not wash as it is too dense to dry properly in a timely manner. When I was finally able to fill my pillow wih a lower volume of filling (2nd Picture), I found it to be very comfortable and a good replacemebt for my very old 'squishy pillow' (on left). At a lower volume, stuffing almost feels like memory foam. Does a great job at cradling neck and head for back sleeper. ... show more

This pillow is very comfy. The 2 pillows came compressed in a box. I took them out and they expanded quick, like 5 minutes later they were both much bigger than the shipping box. The pillows smell nice - ya know how plastic or foam sometimes smell yucky when they’re new? These don’t at all. They smelled like fresh laundry detergent or room spray. I didn’t adjust the amount of foam in them. I just put on a standard size pillow case and took it right to bed. I used to use 2 normal pillows. This took the place of both. It has enough loft to be comfy for back sleeping - my head sinks in great. But the key here is how great they are for side sleeping. I love them for side sleeping. They cradle my head and neck just right and I don’t feel like my neck is bent at a bad angle at all. I move a lot when sleeping, swap positions a lot. I have lumbar back probs and neck probs from working at a desk all my life. So I struggle to find just the right pillow for all the many positions I sleep in. I was gonna give one of these pillows to my partner - but I wound up using both. One under my head and the other I put behind me as kind of support when side sleeping. And when I turned over to my other side I discovered that it made a great cuddle pillow for under my arm when side sleeping. It’s supportive without being too firm. And soft without being too squishy. Oh! And when I used 2 normal fiber fill pillows - my ear would hurt sometimes cuz those pillows compacted under my head and made my ear sore. They’d get compacted overnight and it made my ear get sore. I was on my side when I woke up this morning and the first thing I noticed was that this foam pillow didn’t make my ear sore. That’s about it. I really like them and I hope they are comfy for you too! Buy them! ... show more

This pillow is very plump and you can shape it to fit around your shoulders or however you want, for your comfort. It helps give me extra height for my GERD. It keeps its fluffiness and is comfortable. I don’t find the case comfortable, though. It feels itchy on my skin. I took it off and use my own pillow case. This advertisement says that the pillow is cooling, but I feel no cooling effect whatsoever. I thought that would have been nice to have, since I sometimes wake up very hot, even with the a/c turned low. Still, I would buy this pillow just for comfort. But if you want something for cooling, try something else. ... show more

When I first opened these, I was very nervous about how flat and sad they looked. However after reading the instructions and allowing the pillows time to adjust, I am astounded by their quality. The pillows on the left were open and adjusting 24 hours before I opened the second pack on the right. You can see to give difference in their volume. I am totally blown away by these! So much so that I’d actually have paid luxury pricing on pillows like these so for what they were priced, wow! I will say, DON’T go by what they look/feel like when you first unroll them. The pillow is good for the price, it was thicker than I like but the zipper on the pillow itself allows to take out some of the stuffing and allow you to make it the perfect size, my only other complaint was the stitching on one of my pillows and cause the left over stuffing to come out
