OXO makes really good stuff, and this is no exception. The quality is superb - the stainless is thick and has some nice weight to it, the rubber is dense and grippy, and everything feels great in the hand. The finish looks awesome, it's a nice matte, brushed finish - not glitzy or flashy, but pleasing to look at. It almost has a raw steel appearance and a sort of "looks sturdy and well made" sort of presentation. That being said, it has everything you need, and everything functions beautifully. No leaks from the shaker, and the measuring up inside the cap is genius. The stand alone 2oz measuring cup is awesome too, very easy to read and get an accurate pour - and it's surprisingly hefty feeling for such a small thing. The strainer is basically perfect, compact and deep. And with the masher, the business end is like a hard composite with pyramids - almost like a plastic cutting board material - and it is efficient at mashing. The little pour spouts are nice too, definitely a much nicer look than the cheapies. Overall, a real winner of a set. Beautiful and very well made, it feels like it could last a lifetime. ... show more

I was really happy to get this OXO set! It’s well known for its exceptional quality and it truly lives up to my expectations! The shaker is designed with rubber gaskets on both the bottom and top of the lid which ensures no leaks even during aggressive shaking. Included are two bottle pourers made from a blend of rubber, plastic, and stainless steel. While a flip cap on the pourers would be a nice addition to prevent insects from entering, it's not a deal-breaker. The stainless steel strainer filters out even the smallest fruit pulp and has a nice rubber handle. The muddler has a nice rubber handle and sharp bottom so be gentle using it. Lastly, the set comes with two measuring devices: the shaker lid which measures by the ounce and a small angled cup for precise measurements in tablespoons and ounces. Overall, this set is nothing short of perfection and would make an excellent gift for oneself or others! 😁 ... show more

This is a high quality set that will make shaking up your next cocktail a pleasure. The shaker itself has silicone seals, you can really feel the lid is on securely, and no leaks. Bonus, the silicone top seal also makes it easier to grab the lid to remove it. The measuring beaker is genious - no more guessing at small amounts, or fiddling with measuring spoons, you can see the measurements while it's sitting on the counter. The markings are nicely engraved so they won't wear off. The little strainer is truly fine-meshed - you will likely find many other uses for it around the kitchen as well. The muddler is well designed and durable for citrus and the like, if you are used to the wooden style don't use a heavy hand with your herbs when using this toothed style, or you may find the herbs become bitter. (It's nice to have one of each if you can.) This is just a great, well designed, high quality product for years of use. It would make a great gift too. ... show more

A 5 star rating from me means it exceeded my expectations - now this was going to be difficult because I am already a fan of OXO and expect great products. So what made this 5 star? * this is a nice heavy weight steel, nothing is going to bend or warp * the muddler has a good weight to it and will mush the fruit as I need it * the OXO logo is understated and not screaming OXO like some brands do ** the jigger! it has very clear and easy to read portion sizes inside the jigger - if you are following a recipe this makes it much easier - and I plan to use it when cooking as well as for the bar Really happy with this set! ... show more

When I want a quality product I always turn to OXO. This bar set is no exception. All 6 pieces are well constructed. They are dishwasher safe. I love that the shaker has a gasket to prevent leaks. This set is a great addition to our home bar.

The bar set includes a really lovely shaker, a strainer, a jigger (small measuring cup), muddler (for smashing ingredients), and two pourers. The shaker is very well made and fits together precisely with a smooth fitting rubber seal. It is easy to use and did not seem prone to getting stuck together or mis-aligned. This is a fantastic bar kit. All of the pieces are made from high grade stainless steel with the addition of nice rubber seals to ensure your cocktails and mixes don't leak during shaking. Really can't say enough good about this set, this is pro level stuff you could find at any high end cocktail bar.
