This OXO Furlifter Pet Garment Brush is a simple little tool, but it really does the trick. We got it because my sister has a cat, and inevitably, when we visit her house, we come home with cat hair all over us. I wanted something easy to use to make sure we were brushing all that hair off before it got all over our furniture at home. The brush works really well for cat hair, just like I hoped. It picks up the hair effectively from clothes, and it's pretty easy to clean the brush itself. There aren't really any cons I've noticed – it's just a straightforward, effective garment brush. It feels durable, which is important with three kids who might accidentally drop it. Overall, this brush is definitely worth it for keeping pet hair off clothes. If you have pets yourself, or like us, spend time around pets and want to make sure you're not tracking their hair everywhere, this is a great little investment. It's safe, durable, and does exactly what it's supposed to do.

I bought this and the Allistar one, this one is 110% better than the other model. The other model doesn't trap hair in the receptical well enough, this one works perfect and construction feels better too. Allistar comes with the small brush but that one really doesn't work at all. I'd spend the $20 and go with the OXO

We have a husky and were spending a fortune on lint rollers and a ton of time cleaning hair out of our clothes, carpet and furniture every day. We figured we’d invest in one of these brushes to see if it was worth it. I must say it does a bang-up job and has exceeded our expectations. It lifts hair right out of even fine-threaded fabrics. It only works if you move the brush in the right direction but there’s an arrow on it to tell you which way you need to brush. The receptacle is pretty good too, it gets most if not all the hair when you dip it in once, and by the second dip the brush is clean as a whistle. I will say you have to go over the fabric a few times to get 100% of the hair out, but compared to the lint rollers we were using before it does a much better job and you don’t feel wasteful having a pile of sticky paper in the trash afterwards. It’s great for preventing hair from pilling up, but even when your furniture or clothes are caked with hair it still works great. I’m even able to brush the dog with this thing. I just bought the furniture and on-the-go brush and am excited to get those in. However, I’m skeptical of the carpet rake. The hand-held ones do great but if it’s using the same kind of materials for a rug, I doubt it will get a deep enough clean in our carpet, plus don’t want to take up more space with that large thing. We use a hand-held/ long-toothed furminator for the rugs / carpets and that works great for us.

I have a long haired cat and one of the hidden expenses of having one is having to pay for a monthly lint rollers. I was growing tired of using them so I came here to find am alternative. This product is quite honestly revolutionary. Its so good at picking off hair from my clothes. It works just as well as lint roller, if not better. The cleanup is super simple too. I don't usually write reviews, but the product compelled me to share how amazing I think it is!! I would recommend this to anyone with long-haired pets.

I bought this because of the name. These things have really went up in price over the years. The one I bought at the 99 cent store finally broke after many many years of use. I also bought one off Amazon at the same time. It broke a few years ago and wasn't as good as the one from the 99 cent store. This one is well made but it doesn't work as well as my old one. I have 4 cats so I use this every morning to get the cat hair out of my bed. This thing loads up really fast and once it does it starts dropping the hair back off of it. My old one never had that issue. So I have to use this one carrying the holder around so I can clean it all the time. It works, feels solid. I think they are all too expensive for what they are. I'm sure the one I bought off of Amazon wasn't more than 7 dollars now they're double that.

I use this hair removal brush to pick up massive amounts of cat fur that's on furniture, clothes, the bed, etc. The brush doesn't pick up fur that is sticking into things. I use packing tape for that. However, tape is very expensive. This brush removes a lot of fur, saving on tape. Please remember that the brush works in one direction only, the direction of which depends on which side of the brush is being used to pick up fur.
