Perfect for my small counter space. Easily supports and holds 2 ceramic pasta bowls, 2 ceramic ceramic bowls, a glass storage container, plastic cutting board, small metal sheet pan, oxo skillet and lid. I put my small cups and silverware under the lifted arm. Just dump any access water and pop it behind the faucet or under the sink.

I've been wanting a good drying rack for my kitchen, as I've had to start handwashing all my dishes, and my old rack had started to rust. This one was fairly easy to set up, didn't take up half my counter, and seemed like really great quality. Its size is large enough to tackle my usual load of dishes. This design is definitely different from what I'm used to, and that's a good thing! I love the adjustable arm, so I can customize the rack for whatever I need to dry off. The grips help keep the rack stable on the counter, which I really appreciate. The drainage works fine. I find the base isn't difficult to clean and doesn't take very much time. And the design really does help get your dishes drying faster! And if I need to store it to make some counter space, it's easy to put away. And doesn't take up a ton of room! It's well worth the price. You can dry so many different kinds of dishes and cookware with this. And it is so much easier to clean than my old rack, so highly worth it. It saves me time and headaches!

Functional and practical, this drying rack checks all the boxes. Feels sturdy and well-made. The deep grooves help to keep the dishes upright; they don't slide. The prop bar is perfect if you don't have your drying rack by a wall or don't want to lean your plates and other dishes against the wall. The bar can also be pushed down when not in use, for easy storage. The large, spaced grooves make it easy to clean. The only con is that there are no other color choices. If they offered this in a variety of colors like red, mint, black, cream, I feel like more people would purchase it. The charcoal gray color with the silver bar looks too "industrial" for my kitchen decor, but I am still using it because it's so functional. I just lay the bar flat and slide it in the cabinet under the sink when I am not using it. I took one star off for lack of color options. But I still recommend it, as it is a great product.

I have been using an aesthetic multi-tier overpriced bamboo drying rack that doubles as a cutting board (never used as one) for over a year. This OXO Good Grips Compact Drying Rack with Dish Rest was suggested to me and I hesitated to order it because it is plastic and I try to keep my aesthetic all earthy and stuff. Anyway I have tossed my old drying rack. This one has more space, cleans easier and it low profiled. My old one was about 2-3 inches high it'self and I could not see the kids on the other side of it sometimes. But this one eliminated that issue . It also gives me more space but looks like it takes up less. It looks good and I don't notice the plasticness of it. It is also lightweight and can we used for all kinds of dishes. I like the adjustable bar for drying cutting boards and lids. I have slowly been replacing many of my kitchen and bathroom gadgets with OXO branded stuff over the past few years, and always pleased with the results. My experience is the OXO stuff costs a little bit more (within reason), but is also tons more durable and useful/comfortable. This drying rack is no exception! The size is perfect for the countertop if you are looking to save some space, or to expand a smaller drying rack, like I am. I already have a dish rack that drains out, but I wanted a smaller one for various things on the side, and this was a perfect addition. The drainage works great, and I like the adjustable bar. The shape and the bar make it super versatile for drying things. The bottom is nonslip and doesn't move around when placing or picking up things. Overall, I'm super glad I bought yet another item from OXO. I will continue my quest to replace more of my kitchen items with OXO, as I always like their sleek and practical designs, and durability. This dish rack feels like it really should last forever due to the materials. The only downside is there really isn't a drainage holes, so you are relying on air drying the rack along with the dishes. Not a big deal, I just give my dishes a quick shake down before throwing them on the rack, and the air does the rest.

This drying rack is nice for smaller loads of dishes and doesn’t take up much of my counter space at all. I like the raised arm to lean plates, lids, and larger bowls upright for drying. Cups and utensils dry nicely as well on the surface of the rack since it is slotted. It’s also really versatile since you can use it on the counter or in the sink and it has those non-slip feet to keep it from sliding while loading dishes. I do still keep a towel under it. One thing I do want to mention is that the listing describes the base as “silicone,” so I thought it was going to have a soft or rubbery feeling. It actually feels more like a hard plastic material. Not a problem whatsoever. I mean, it still works exactly as intended but just something worth noting if you’re expecting a softer texture like I was. I also personally LOVE that there are no drain holes or spouts. I didn’t want something that had to hang over or lean into the sink. Once the dishes are dry it’s super easy to just dump out the small bit of water and put it away. The rack feels like good quality, looks great, and folds down flat for storing it away. So much of an upgrade from the giant bulky dish rack I had that was taking over my counter with nowhere to store it at. Love it!
