I bought these in my endless search for brighter headlights on my 2006 Honda Pilot. From the factory, these headlights are what I call "the candles." How could these dim, anemic lights, even have been legal in 2006? Visibility at night is poor at best and if there is any dirt on the lens, forget it! I have been using the Sylvania bright white halogen (not the xenon) bulbs. I feel Oxilam LED bulbs boosted light output about 30% more than the Sylvania bulbs I'd been using. They are a little bigger longer than the halogen and have the heat dissipation fins so a little more challenging to get into the fixture but work great. I understand some buyers experience flickering with the LED after market bulbs but I have had no issues. ... show more

    • Working in my 2011 Subaru Outback

Anyone who has replaced headlights in a 2011 generation Subaru outback knows how big of a pain it is and wants to avoid it at all costs. I'm hoping these will allow me to do that after replacing the old Halogen bulbs countless times (including after the extended bulb warranty expired). These installed perfectly fine without any major adaptions needed, though I did have to fiddle with them a bit to get them to fit in the slot right. There's a little bit of a flicker when I first turn the car on, but once it is on they work without issue. My only complaint is that they are relatively dim. They provide what I think is ever so slightly less light than the older halogens they replaced, but the different light color I think helps compensate for it. They are NOT as bright as a lot of the newer car's LED headlights that you see on the road today. If you have trouble seeing at night, you might want to look elsewhere. If you don't, these are a good choice. I've had them installed a few months with no issue, I'll update the review if they go dead on me. ... show more

Update: Customer service reached out shortly after my review posted and have been absolutely excellent. Five stars just for how they’ve been handling the situation I’ve been having with these lights! Original review: Bought these last year and they were great until about a month ago. I started to notice they seemed to flicker occasionally. I did my due diligence and checked my electrical system and everything checked out fine. I still replaced the battery because it was of unknown age and winter kills batteries. Still no change, in fact it’s slowly gotten more frequent and more obvious. I drive at night a lot and these were great, but now they strobe nearly constantly. It sucks because I liked them. Shame it’s too late to return these. I like the brand, but these have been a total let down. ... show more

First thing I have to say is if you have an issue with the light, make sure to read the trouble shooting section in the instruction manual. I have to say that one of the lights flickers. I contacted the vendor and received a prompt reply. The vendor also sent a decoder for the light at no extra cost. the only issue I have is that, although the light is bright, there must be a focus issue because it seems very dim while I'm driving. I might have to contact the seller again or go back to using halogen light. ... show more

I liked that it made a bright white light. I could see it on a cloudy day. I would say they were about twice as bright as the old halogen lights. They were about forty dollars so they were about half the price of advanced auto led bulbs. They fit the old Subaru forester just fine. So I don't know how long they will last. Didn’t mind them, worked fine but I wasn’t aware the car I installed them in would throw a warning the headlight was out and I was ready to drive without headlights it was extremely annoying because it would turn on and off, and the headlights were still on

I use Honda fit 2018. The height bulbs (H4) are very easy to install (following the video instruction in the here), but the light is not that bright. I tried to keep going with it, but at night, it’s hard to focus especially when there is a foggy night. I might have to switch back to the old one or better need to get a new brighter brand. ... show more
