These over-blinds curtain rod brackets are a pretty clever idea and definitely get the job done! I was looking for a solution that didn't require drilling into my walls, and these delivered on that front perfectly. They fit right over the top of my outside-mounted blinds in minutes—super easy installation, no tools required, which I loved. They hold the curtain rod securely enough for light to medium weight curtains. The reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is that they are a little visible from certain angles and the metal feels slightly less sturdy than I'd hoped. But honestly, for the convenience and avoiding holes in the wall, they're a great product. Worth picking up!

I needed to put a thermal curtain in front of my patio door blinds boats for the thermal efficiency and so that people couldn't see any easily without me happening to deal with pulling the blinds and turning them right every night. And with the curtain I can slide it all the way off to the side when I don't need those features. At first I purchased a large room divider set up so that I could mount it adjacent to the blinds. Then I found this! These work so freaking good and they're easy lightweight and simple and it keeps the curtain out plenty for the vertical blinds to turn their different directions and be closed or opened behind it. Very very easy to adjust and they're holding great even with me using the curtain now more than I do the vertical blinds LOL. And even though the curtain is a kind of heavy good thermal one and the rod is a kind of heavy one inch. And I only had to use two of these for the entire distance Even though three came in the package. By only using two I can slide my one extra wide curtain all the way to one side and back without an interruption. I saved a lot of money and a lot of headache with these (honestly I got super frustrated trying to build the room divider thing... Thank goodness I got so frustrated I looked for any other way!). These are so simple but effective.

I almost returned these because I thought they were too small for my blinds, but I decided to fidget with it a bit more and found out that they would work after all. I ordered 2 sets because it was recommended for extra support in the middle of my balcony door./window I only bought one panel of a curtain, intending to just slide the curtain to the end when I wanted to have it open. Well, with the two extras in the middle, that won't work, the curtain won't pass through those. So, I am going to try to just remove the two extras in the middle so that I can open and close completely. They seem strong and sturdy enough that I think one on each end will work. Maybe at some point, I will go ahead and buy another panel so that I can use the extra supports in the middle. This probably sounds totally confusing; bottom line, I do recommend these, they are great for apartment dwellers like me who don't want to drill into the walls.
