I've been a nail tech for 11 years now, so I've gone through the days of the old school airbrush, to the new portable ones that has entered into the market. I went through 4 other airbrush machines, before this one. The one with the lever on top of the airbrush, vs this trigger style. The trigger release is 1000% better! & The strength of this airbrush is phenomenal. I Was flabbergasted to say the least the first time I tried it & I will never be buying a different airbrush machine again. THIS ONE IS THE BEST.

I've been airbrushing for nearly 40 years and own quite a few different airbrushes. I've always been a double-action airbrush fan, but as I age I find my fingers have begun to slightly cramp while using an airbrush. It sounds strange, but the push-down-pull-back motion of a double-action airbrush just gets to my fingers. I decided it was time to try a trigger-action airbrush, and I have to say I am pleasantly pleased with the results of this airbrush! It actually feels more natural to hold in my hand, and the trigger action feels more natural than the ol' push-down-pull-back of my other airbrushes. The addition of the wireless compressor actually enhances the feel in my hand, much like I am holding a pistol and not an airbrush. The airbrush feels heavy enough to be quality, but light enough to not be a burden to hold. It's well-built and the trigger action feels rather smooth. Overall I am liking the trigger action over the traditional double-action of an airbrush. The attached wireless compressor also has two PSI settings which is helpful when you need a small amount of pressure flowing through the airbrush or more pressure for a thicker medium. So why four stars instead of five? Well, there are two things to mention that really keep me from giving this airbrush five stars. First, the paint cups that came with it are large and larger. I would have liked to have had a small cup for those projects that require a little touch-up here and there. I can't seem to find one to purchase separately, so I'll just have to make due. The second item to note is the double-action itself. This airbrush is screwed on to a wireless compressor that only activates when the airbrush is in use. While that is handy (and preserves battery power), I found rather quicky the only way to activate the compressor is to pull the trigger back far enough to actually pull the needle back a bit, causing the airbrush to spit a bit of paint in the process. Once the compressor is running you can let off the trigger a bit, closing the needle thus eliminating the paint splatter. At that point it's air only. So you have to make sure you activate this airbrush away from whatever you may be painting. On a normal double-action airbrush, when you push the trigger down it is only for air. There is no needle movement whatsoever. I have not attached this airbrush to my airbrush compressor, so perhaps the air-only trigger actuation may work better. Overall I really like this airbrush for the trigger comfort and portability of the compressor.

I ordered this airbrush on a whim, because I was interested in using it for some small projects and it looked nice. It is nice, but for the price it could be better. It works well for what I use it for, but the screw that holds the trigger on keeps backing out and the last time it happened, I didn't know until I put the pen down and trhe trigger fell off. So I have no idea where the screw is now. The battery also doesn't seem to last very long anymore, but that's a fairly minor issue. I do love the cordlessness and portability of this pen, and to get started experimenting with using an airbrush it's fine.
