Do not waste your money, I have purchased several of these over the years and this one is off the charts the worst one ever. Itโs listed as a 12 kg furnace, itโs the size of a 6 kg furnace. The lid is not hinged, no air intake control, thin as a soda can. It really seems like a bad joke, and it is not refundable. Steer clear of this item.

Fun and funxtional, made getting into smelting easy and fun for a complete noob like me. Safety equipment is adequate, and the actual furnace is well-built.

Lid gots distorted under high heat... Heat is escaping off lid edges. The top lid is now offset and distorted after the first heat, and does not close properly. Took a long time to melt a small amount of copper. Used a lot of propane, to melt a small amount of material. NOT impressed
