Aug 10, 2025 3:02 PM This product is poorly designed. First off, we followed all the directions exactly and has looked forward to being able to melt some gold we have. With the first use, the paint pealed around the port in the lid and around the burner tube mounting flange. I aborted use when the paint started flaking around the burner tube because I was concerned that the weld was going to fail. Oh, another thing is I noticed that the screws holding the handle adjacent to the burner tube port had loosened and the handle is ready to fall off. All with only one use for approximately 20 minutes. I am completely disappointed with this unit. I did not read far enough to see that this product is not returnable. Do not waste your money or time on this garbage. I NEED TO UPDATE MY REVIEW. MY ABOVE COMMENTS ABOUT THE PRODUCT EEMAIN UNCHANGED. HOWEVER, MY OPINION OF THE SELLER AND THEIR WILLINGNESS TO MAKE THIS RIGHT WITH ME IS COMINDABLE. THEY GAVE ME A FULL REFUND. THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND AND I APPEECIATE THAT. I AM RASING MY RATING FIR THIS REASON. I MAY HAVE RECEIVED A PRODUCT PRODICED WITH FLAWS THAT MAY BE INCONSISTENT WITH USUAL PRODUCTS???

Well I did have couple issues with the product, I was having trouble getting the burner to stay lit. After I adjusted the burner it worked well. Also the lid is awesome you can grab the crucible safely. But the buckles that seal the furnace should have been designed differently. I expressed my issues to the seller, who in turn contacted me in a timely manner to resolve the issue. We were able to agree on a solution, that I'm satisfied with. Overall great customer support and a decent product.

No bolt to secure flame input, on third use for some reason crucible stuck to fire brick and bottom padding will need replaced already even with using rigidizer, fire brick is broken already, was melting copper wire on third usage
