Pop-and-go wig for work, and overall it's a high-quality piece with a few drawbacks.
Color: OFF BLACK 1B
I've been using the Outre Melted Hairline Lace Front Wig KAMIYAH (1B Off Black) as a pop-and-go wig for work, and overall it's a high-quality piece with a few drawbacks. The hair is very soft, looks incredibly realistic, and has a high density that gives it a full appearance. I was able to flat iron and curl it without any issues, which added to its versatility. However, it does start to tangle a bit toward the end of the day, and the density, while impressive, makes it feel heavier than I prefer. The cap is also a bit too large for my head, though I sewed on combs to help it fit better. Despite those minor issues, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a full, natural-looking wig that can handle heat styling.

Outre Kamiyah – Soft, Durable & Everyday Friendly
Color: DARK BROWN 2
I’ve been wearing the Outre Natural Yaki wig pretty much daily for about a month now and it’s holding up impressively well. From the very first day the texture felt soft and manageable and it hasn’t lost that quality even after wash, wear, and using dry shampoo. What stands out is how low-maintenance it is. I tend to avoid brushes with hard bristles and instead use wide tooth combs or soft paddle brushes and the wig barely tangles. Even when I use dry shampoo the buildup is minimal. When I do wash it it cleans up nicely without frizz or shedding. The look is so natural. The Yaki texture gives that subtle straight yet textured finish that blends well with my hairline. It doesn’t look overly shiny or artificial. The fibers seem good quality because they respond well to heat styling when needed but also revert to the original texture without looking damaged. Comfort is another win. The cap fits snug without being tight. The lace lays flat and I get no irritation or itching even after hours of wear. Sometimes I forget I’m wearing it because it’s that comfortable. If you’re after a wig that looks good, feels good and can take daily wear without turning into a tangled mess this one is worth trying. It delivers natural texture, durability, and style without a lot of fuss.

Solid beginner unit, with only a couple cons
Color: DRFF2/CINNAMON MOCHA
This a great wig for those new to wearing lace front wigs. While this unit has a lot of pros there are some cons. PROS: The hairline comes preplucked to a natural density. So it’s easy to customize the hairline. The light yaki texture on this unit is beautiful and the color is fire. The elastic band helps hold the wig on nicely and allows for the unit to be worn glueless. The cap construction is very light which makes this a great summer wig. As someone who’s part of the big head club, this unit fit perfectly. The lace was easy to melt with just Ebin melt spray. Overall, this is a solid unit that should last for quite a while with proper maintenance. CONS: now let’s talk about some of the cons of this unit. I found that my unit wow beautiful when I first took it out the package was a little dry and immediately I noticed tangling towards the ends of the hair. I was able to wear it a couple days by just using wig spray to ease the tangling, but after day two my ends were pretty tattered. I did flat iron the hair on a low temperature of 300 and the hair flat irons beautifully. All tangles were removed, and I noticed the hair was softer post flat iron. So if you get this unit, I will recommend flat ironing it before you wear it. The hair also holds a curl beautifully as well. Another con is that because it is a middle Y part you cannot do a flip over on this hair without showing tracks.

My daily wig
Color: DRFF2/CINNAMON MOCHA
The texture of this wig should be the standard for every Outre wig. This is a genuine yaki texture. It’s not silky at all, making it look natural and like human hair. The cinnamon mocha color is teaaa. The only thing that could make this wig better is if it was upgraded to a closure or frontal. Outre, listen up!!! If I could part this to the side or the middle depending on the day, I’d get on everyone’s nerves! I have yet to find a frontal/closure that captures this brilliant yaki blowout texture and color.

Disappointed (UPDATED REVIEW MARCH 2026, still disappointed)
Color: DARK BROWN 2
——-UPDATED REVIEW—— So I’m disappointed once AGAIN. After a few years, I decided to give this wig another try. Well, the wig arrived used! The lace is cut, there’s makeup on the lace and the package came damaged... it’s very obvious this wig has been used. Very annoyed because I really needed something new. I’m disgusted that anyone would return a used wig like this.. It’s ridiculous that no one is checking these products before shipping them. This isn’t the first time I received a used wig or extensions. I like buying from Amazon because of the quick shipping, but I don’t think it’s worth it if I have to consistently return items because they arrived used. It’s inconvenient. I will no longer be purchasing wigs/extensions from Amazon. I will be going back to some of the OG wig websites. I’ve never had issues with them. —- OLD REVIEW—- Terrible wig. This is my second time getting this wig and it’s worst than the first time I got it. The first time I got it was a while after it had came out. I got it from another online beauty supply store. A few tracks in the wig were showing at the top. Although I was disappointed, I loved the texture because it looked kinky straight hair. So I decided to just wear it with a beanie. I decided to give it another try. This time the wig looks NOTHING like the first time I got it. It’s almost like it’s another wig. It’s very silky and shiny. And the wig is soooo thin in the back. You can see the tracks and wig cap. I’ve tried styling it, but nothing seems to work. I’m not sure if i can even wear it. I have no idea why this wig is so bad. I wish I could get a refund.

Texture is different
Color: DRFF2/CINNAMON MOCHA
I have bought this wig from other beauty stores and even from AliExpress and the texture is very different from Amazon. The Amazon wig is nice for the first day even though the ends are very dry and does not have that silky feel like from the middle to the roots.seems like the hair is old and dry.

Beautiful- but.
Color: DRFF4/HAZELNUT HONEY
Beautiful wig. Color blend is perfect, style of hair was nice and lace melted like butter. But- the hair re texture and density was wild. Overly thick, sheds a lot, I have to be combing it every 10 minutes. Would buy again if not so thick

Please Read | Beautiful Unit
Color: DARK BROWN 2
Beautiful unit. PLEASE READ. I purchased the #2 PROS beautiful layers. ready to wear and will fit most face shapes. easy to add shorter layers in the front; however, mine didn't need that at all. the #2 is slightly darker than the average 2 but is absolutely gorgeous. nice parting space and great length as described lays well in the front and back without constant snagging Light shedding, don't remember much of that at all YOU WILL TURN HEADS Lace is slightly tented, no major concerns there. ear to ear lace. Comes with an adjustable strap CONS People state this is light yaki, but it's barely yaki so be mindful. It's barely yaki. Just a dash of yak. This unit (in my opinion) because of the lace requires a complete glue down. Meaning you've got to glue this to your scalp every 2 - 3 days. That's a lot for synthetic. For the girls who like to wear this behind the hairline, good luck. The lace is completely loose and will not. Recommend Nesha 203 or others for a behind-the-hairline look with thick yaki that you can hotcomb as sleek as you need your yaki to be. For those who want a throw on and go, good luck. This is not it. This lace is delicate and made to blend in with your scalp BUT wearing this without glue is nearly impossible Options. Just glue the middle down and use the side hair for coverage. Get it and use it as a weekend option. This unit is gorgeous even with a light yaki. I returned mine and bought the Neesha 203 again but in a 1b. I cut layers in it just like this unit was cut. I can wear the Neesha behind my hairline OR infront of my hairline (with bobby pins on the sides) without any glue. The Neesha yaki makes the hairline very believable; however, I tend to do thin the hair out for a natural lay.
