I like the heavy-duty Oxford-style material because it feels thick enough to handle rain, sun, dust, and general weather without instantly breaking down. When it fits right, it fully covers the mower and does a good job keeping everything clean and dry underneath. The elastic hem and straps help keep it snug, which is important because a loose cover is basically useless in wind. The air vents are one of the better features. They actually help reduce that trapped moisture and condensation issue you get with cheaper covers, which matters a lot if you don’t want rust or mildew building up over time. I have a John Deere E100 riding mower, 42" deck and this cover will definitely fit. This cover is not like a thick, heavy 400 denier canvas-like material, but like a lightweight rain jacket. It does what it's made to do, keeps the weather and cats off my mower since I don't have a garage or shed. Some nice features are that there's elastic around the bottom which tucks under the mower, and a buckle strap across the front to take up slack keeping the wind from running away with it. There's also a ventilation flap on the front. Keep your tractor dry and clean!

This 54-inch outdoor lawn mower cover is nice and big, made from thick, durable material that feels substantial and weather-resistant. The elastic bottom hem wraps snugly around the lower part of the mower for a secure fit, while small air vents help with airflow to prevent moisture buildup inside. It also includes elastic tie-down straps in the middle and possibly corners—easy to cinch tight for windy days or to keep everything in place during storms. No flapping or shifting in moderate weather so far. While it’s designed for mowers, I found it works great as a multi-purpose cover: I’ve been using it over an engine jack and car jack that were previously barely protected by an old tarp. It drapes nicely over the awkward shapes, stays put with the straps, and does an excellent job keeping rain, dust, sun, and dew off the tools—definitely slowing down any rust progression and keeping them in better shape. Overall, it’s a solid, heavy-duty cover that provides reliable outdoor protection for mowers or other large equipment/tools. This lawn mower cover is made of a lightweight oxford cloth (polyester) material with a urethane backing. The material is not elastic (as the product description says). It is quite large. It droops over my riding lawn mower with a 42" deck and hangs all the way to the ground. I suspect I could put the rear bagger on and it would still fit. There is only one strap (again, not elastic) at one end and it does not have a buckle as pictured. There's a loop you can tie it to. There is a drawstring along the bottom edge for cinching the cover in place. It doesn't work very well. The material bunches up around the exit when tightening and the barrel lock doesn't hold. There is a vent sewn into the cover, but since it doesn't prop open, it is not particularly effective. All in all, this cover works a little better than a polyethylene tarp, but that's it. It's ok, but I think the cover is a little over-priced, and not accurately described.

The vent is a useful idea. Our mower has been exposed to the elements for a long while. This cover is very helpful. It is rather large and will accommodate many sizes. The fasteners are not as pictured and can be a little bit of a hassle to secure, with a strap. I do wonder if the strong winds we get will pull it off and it will disappear with the wind. We have so much little wildlife that I hope they do not get under or stuck in it. But that might happen with any cover, really, right? The cover is a plastic sort of blend, which is a good option for the rain and the heavy, wet snow we have been getting. If any other material, it would leak. Overall, this is a nice item and really does give protection when you have had nothing.

I got this lawn mover cover for my riding craftsman and it is perfect. The thing is massive, I was worried that it wouldn’t fit, but it fits perfectly. The quality is good, the cover has a good thickness to it and is well made. It is easy to tighten to the mower so it doesn’t blow away. I am really happy with the quality.
