This item fit me well especially due to knob at back to improve fit. Not sure if it truly will protect my head, since it is does not heavy duty feel. However, I am only rollerskating at a leisurely pace. I had to replace the initial same helmet due to a UPC sticker on the top of helmet. Also, it did not come with extra pads. Overall, I like this helmet.

My more traditional looking bike helmets put pressure on my cochlear implant coil to the point that it was too uncomfortable to wear the implant device. This helmet is huge but puts no pressure on the coil. A trade off but necessary unless I modify my old helmets and cut out some of the rigid foam, which I might do as I prefer the smaller helmets. But that doesn't detract from this being a good helmet in my opinion for what it is.
