Does what it's supposed to do. Sound quality is fine, certainly good enough for skiing. Open ear design means you can still hear the slopes and other people. Tap controls work but I'm always forgetting how many taps on which ear do which thing. Battery lasts all day on the slopes. Fits well in helmet ear covers after removing some of the removable padding. Very happy overall.

I use these skiing every day. Charge will hold for 3 or 4 ski days before recharging. Only drawback is that your have to pull one speaker out of helmet pocket to recharge. I wish you could charge without having to remove the unit to access usb c connector.

Nice sound quality, fits my helmet perfectly. The single click controls aren’t that big of a deal. You have to make some sacrifices when you’re controlling them through multiple layers of fabric. The single click system is easy to learn within a few minutes. USB-C charging and goes from low to full in an hour.

I ordered two of these and return them both since they were both defective the audio sounds great when listening to a call, but the microphone doesn’t seem to work and anyone I’m talking to hears only garbled speech. I do have a friend who has one of these and has liked it and reports it works well, so perhaps they produced a bad batch.

The connect to my son’s phone. He can hear his text messages through them. Volume control built it so his phone stays in his pocket.

TL;DR If you only need speakers, this might be a good option. But if you need a microphone often, you might want to look elsewhere. The main reason I didn’t keep the headphones was because the microphone in the helmet was so weak that I couldn’t be heard. What surprised me as a comparative test, wearing AirPods Pro in my ears and my head in the helmet, microphones are perfect. I’ll miss the chips battery life, but I’m not too bothered about that by comparison. The speakers were okay, but they weren’t as good as the AirPods Pro. Oh, and here’s something else: even though the headphones have a USB-C physical connector, the technology is still based on the older USB-A protocol. So, you can’t use a USB-C to USB-C charger to charge them. That’s not cool, especially in 2024.
