SO I searched high and low for the perfect duvet insert. and this is it for ME! I was looking for a duvet insert that could be used year round but be warm enough for winter. For starters i started using this about a week ago . And currently it is winter so i can say this a slightly light weight but it is warm enough where I am not sweating! PERFECT my husband sleeps hot and he loves it (IFY we do not sleep with the heat on) Now the only question left is would it be good for the summer? Now that is no biggie i can always buy something different . But this is perfect for this RI weather. I washed it on medium and dried it on medium heat. I had to take it to the laundromat and it washed well . It took about 90 mintues to dry. the insert itself fluffed up nicely! if you want a poofy bedding then get a thicker insert this is not that!

The media could not be loaded. It’s nice I used this in Florida for me and my cat, where obviously you can see the cat hair on the black side when I flip it. I got the king size for my California King waterbed from Afloat. It’s great. I replaced a real down comforter with it because I couldn’t wash the real down. This one is a nice evenly stitched poly fill that doesn’t shift and it really soft. I’m really happy with it, it’s perfect I keep the AC around 73-74 and at night me and the kitty sprawl and snuggle under the blanky.

I would gladly give this 5 stars if the sizing was correct. Bought it for my queen bed, and it barely covers the top of the mattress. Not much hangs over. Gave to my daughter for her full size mattress. Bought the king size one and it fits perfectly.
