Upon opening this high quality duvet comforter I was very impressed. It was well packaged and vacuum sealed. The paper states that there may be a slight smell from natural fibers from the filling. I didn’t notice any smell. The fabric has a nice soft and cool feeling the way cotton naturally feels. It feels like it will be very breathable and still be warm for all seasons. I am letting it air out to fluff a bit before using it. 5 star!

Lovely construction - heavier (and less fluffy) than I hoped. Perhaps it's not really all goose down? This one will keep you really warm! If you live in a mild winter climate, it may not be for you. Considering returning.

SO I searched high and low for the perfect duvet insert. and this is it for ME! I was looking for a duvet insert that could be used year round but be warm enough for winter. For starters i started using this about a week ago . And currently it is winter so i can say this a slightly light weight but it is warm enough where I am not sweating! PERFECT my husband sleeps hot and he loves it (IFY we do not sleep with the heat on) Now the only question left is would it be good for the summer? Now that is no biggie i can always buy something different . But this is perfect for this RI weather. I washed it on medium and dried it on medium heat. I had to take it to the laundromat and it washed well . It took about 90 mintues to dry. the insert itself fluffed up nicely! if you want a poofy bedding then get a thicker insert this is not that!

This comforter is supposed to keep you warm but not if it is only 15% goose down and 85% feathers down. Also the Seller’s customer service is not responsive at all with any emails. My oversized king comforter was still having the foul smell so we decided to wash it with mild detergent and gentle wash and then low heat tumble dry but it did not eliminate the odors in-fact my comforter got very clumpy even with tennis balls inside the dryer. Tried to contact the seller for resolutions but no response whatsoever, going forward I will order from another seller with 75% goose down. 15% feathers down and 10% feathers and with fill power of 850+ to ensure you will be warm enough in severe cold weather and all that for just a few dollars more. Don’t waste your money and time with this comforter. Now I will have to return this useless comforter back to Amazon and hope to get my refund in full.
