This chest protector consists of the front chest panel, a two piece back panel and shoulder pads. The front panel is joined to the back panel at the shoulders with 1.5" heavy duty webbing that goes through slots in the front and back panels, fastens with velcro at both ends of the webbing and is very adjustable. The shoulder pads are held in place with the webbing that is threaded through slots in the pads. The chest protector is held in place on the body with super heavy duty 1.5" elastic straps at the waist that are adjustable and have strong secure buckles. The padding inside the armored panels is molded foam covered in a very smooth synthetic fabric. It is the padded lining that holds the upper back panel to the lower back panel. The padded lining, plastic shell, webbing and elastic straps are all top quality materials. The chest protector is very well designed with plenty of ventilation, good comfort, fit and adjustability. The stitching and build quality are also excellent. I have a couple of other name brand chest protectors for dirt bike riding and I prefer this one over the others. It is easy to put on and take off with the quick release buckles. I'm 6' and 225 lb, this chest protector fits me better than either of my name brand armor. I like the adjustability of the shoulder straps and how secure it feels with the elastic straps. This one also works very well while wearing my hydration pack. I don't really notice this chest protector while on the bike. It is comfortable, unobtrusive and allows complete freedom of movement. I like it very much and consider it a solid value.

I got the OUMURS Adult Chest Protector so that I would have an extra. I quickly realized that this is a better chest protector than my current one so I made this my primary. The chest protector comes well made: all the stitching is clean and tight. I was pressed that the back vents are a steel mesh and not vinyl. I have only worn this chest protector on a couple rides for a few hours total. It is very comfortable and fits my body well without any adjustment. It weighs less than a pound, and I have enjoyed wearing it both over my motocross and underneath it. I also like that the shoulder pads are removable and the chest protector can be worn without them. You can see from the photos that this has more plastic protection than the inexpensive one next to it. I haven’t taken any rocks, roost, or branches to the chest test how durable this is yet. At the time of this review, this chest protector is ~$65 which is a great value, considering all the name-brand versions of this are twice as expensive. But there are other lesser known brands that look very similar to this that are about the same price. This chest protector is easy to put on and use because it uses the same buckle attachments as the high-end brands. I would buy this again after my positive experiences with it.
