This is the first time I got this type of band with a magnetic fastener. Where was this band for my previous watches? Some have reported that the magnet keeps sticking to all part of the band when trying to wear and remove. I do not face that problem. When removing I detach the magnet and let it dangle and pull the band through the other side to make the opening bigger. Reverse the process when wearing. Turning the wrist down helps. I was also worried the magnet may keep sliding and the watch may become loose, but it never happens. Also, there is almost no chance the magnet will accidentally gets detached if you hit something. It is very comfortable; almost like wearing a leather or cloth band. The place the band connects to the watch pivots, so if your wrist is thin, the band will not just out like the Apple's nylon bands, making a gap between your wrist and the band. Great product.

Good stuff: 1) at 1 week usage, the band does not smell. 2) The linkage is not too tight nor too loose, so the band can breathe somewhat; 3) look is very clean and simple; 4) the band is long enough that I can extend it and slip my hand through the band without unthreading it from the watch; 5) magnetic attach is very secure Not so good stuff (not necessarily bad, but not what i would like): 1) band does not flex/twist, so it digs into my wrist if i don't want it flopping around; 2) similar to 1, band does not stretch, so to make sure it does not slip, it needs to be pretty snug and then it can dig...caveat here: i'm still working on fine tuning the adjustment, so it might still be possible to get it snug without being tight; 3) magnetic attach is strong, so it sticks all over the place...meaning that to get the band adjusted when you put it on, you need to be careful as it won't just flop back where it was before. Once i get the adjustment the way i want it, i think i might have to somehow mark the band. 4) no instructions...but you can google. apparently, there is an elongated button on the back side near each of the locations where the band attaches. push that and slide out the old one and then slide in the new one. Make sure that when you slide the band in place, you start with the side that has the adjustment/magnetic attach and then, when laying the band over your wrist as if you are wearing it, you make sure the band attach is on the outside (so you don't have to take it apart and start over) or you won't be able to easily take it off or put it on.
