I purchased the smaller of the two options available. I got two of them and wear them in my second piercing in my ears. The gauge is small enough to wear as an earring without worry of stretching your piercing hole. They are actually pretty petite earrings. So small, in fact, that I had to go to a professional piercer to have the ball screwed on. Teeny. He only charged me $20 to screw on the balls, with a tip, $40..I may have found them cheaper in his shop, but oh well, it’s done and I like the earrings. I believe that they are truly 14k gold and I have been quite pleased with them. ... show more

Real gold and like the bigger size. The balls aren’t hard to unscrew and screw back on. It was just thicker than my normal gage so it was a pain to get in.
