This is the best of the best of the Ottorbox cases. Survives falls, throws, toddlers, etc. Well worth your money. Otterbox also guarentees its products and I've received free replacements in past for cracks or breaks of case. Phone is always safe though. Awesome product.

This review is for an Ottebox Commuter on an iPhone XS. Overall, typical great Otterbox build quality and fit. Not sure about the reviewer who said it wasn't made for an XS. Maybe they got the wrong model by accident? Mine went on easily and fits perfectly. All buttons (volume, etc.) are covered by the case, except for the mute slider switch. Button-covers on the case work fine and I can't tell any functional difference from the actual iPhone buttons. There is a hinged cover for the Lightning port; I usually hate having to open these up for charging, but this one is pretty easy and hasn't bothered me yet. (On other cases I've cut the cover off to make charging easier.) The back of the case has a cutout for the camera lens (of course) as well as the Apple logo. Really my only complaint with this case is that the back of the case is slick, hard plastic and easily slides off things when you place the phone down. For those who slide the phone in and out of clothes pockets or cases all the time this is probably a good feature, as it makes it a lot easier to slide into a pocket in your jeans or whatever. So far I'm ok with it, but personally would prefer at least a little bit of a grippy feel (although not full grip like a silicone case). Just keep that in mind if you order it. ... show more
