I wanted a case that wasn't too bulky but provided excellent protection and this Defender XT case is just what I was looking for. It provides great protection and is not as bulky as the original OtterBox. It is very easy to grip and comfortable to hold.

The feel of the case is nice and overall it protects the phone well, but there are some issues and concerns. This does not work well with a screen protector and the rubber protection square around the cameras has only lasted a few months and it is separating from the plastic. Not sure why this case is a two-piece design. You have the main part and a ring part that holds the phone in. Whereas other cases have more of a "lip" to hold the phone in, making it easier to take out and put in, nothing to disassemble. I would expect with a design like this, for it to have a builtin screen protector, it does NOT. Materials seem good and durable, like other Otter products. The outer band is textured for good grip, but not too rubbery or have the feel of silicone cases. The rear panel is a hard plastic or polymer. Lifetime warranty is always good but not sure how useful it would be. ... show more
