The case is hard plastic with a rubbery outer covering. The case protects the top and bottom of the phone with a raised lip of both hard plastic and softer outer covering. HOWEVER, the sides of the phone are only protected by a negligible amount of raised rubber. In my opinion, there is a still a small possibility of breaking your phone.     • Longevity not as great. Effectively, would need replaced after year of use.

Kept the dust out of the port and protected the sides and back from impacts/ drops very well. But only 1 year of use and those pros are effectively negated. (Website claims 7 year life) Cons: After only 2 years the exterior rubber material has stretched and already become brittle. Power button is flaking off in chucks and the power port cover has fallen off. Only 1 year of using a cord to power my phone before the port cover came off. Shouldnt have to spend near $60 every year to keep dust out of the power port. ... show more
