the 10,000g quartz ceramic crucible bowls dimensions are for the 2,500g...which if you calculate the grams to lbs in the bowl it was suppose to fit 22 .04lbs for 10,000g bowl and the 2,500g bowl was to fit 5.51 lbs. capacity of grains so the dimensions are wrong to hold 10,000 which the bowl that was sent only can hold 5.10 lbs of gold grains that practically over exceeding the bowl dimension 9x8x5inches does not meet the bare minimum standards of hold or fitting 10,000g that will equal to 22.04lbs capacity something wrong with tge dimension are to small sending the bowls...actual dimensions for 10,000g are 22x11x8 inches not 9x8x5 inches diamond gold smelting ore and hemotite gold smelting ore ... show more

These crucibles are "okay", but between the oddball shape, extra-thick casting, pronounced castig seam interfering with smooth pouring, and the fact that one cracked on its 3rd use... I won't be ordering them again.

I needed something heat-resistant, to put hot tips from my wood burner in, while they cool. It does serve that purpose. But the edge is very rough & irregular. It isn’t a problem for my purpose, but it does show a lack of quality control.
