I started out with a used bora 80 pack and it was a beast. I went to quest and got sized and found out my bora was two sizes two big and then fell in love with this one. Quest didn’t have an xs and my trip was like 2 days away so I had to order it here. I did an overnight trip with this at the gorge and it rained. The built in rain cover was very handy. The pack is very comfy. I love the side pockets and the slanted water bottle picked osprey has so you don’t need assistance getting your water. I found that it’s better to use the life water bottles from gas station as they weigh less than anything and hold 1 liter. This pack held everything I needed. I don’t think you could do more than a 1-3 days with this pack as it holds very small amount. ... show more

I like the size of this backpack and it ease of use. The color is great too. It is more of a eggplant color than the purple in the picture.I haven't used it on the trail yet but I have loaded it and walked on trails around home for practice. It seems to be very comfortable and a good snug fit with all of the adjustment straps making it conform to an individual's proportions. Because of my size I ordered the xs/s. It fits me great and I hope it will be large enough hold everything I need. I think it will, once I learn about how to pack efficiently. Planning a 5 -6 day trip with a friend this summer so we can share some items. I also ordered the viva 50 and returned it because it just seemed to be too big for me even though it is adjustable to different torso lengths. ... show more

Nice fit,very light and good quality. Be aware that the purple is not quite as pictured, a real purple. I would call this more of a plum color. More reddish than true purple. The photos posted everywhere for this backpack should be changed because that is not the color you get. If I could have exchanged for the nice purple one in the picture, I would have. I love this pack. It weighs hardly anything and was comfortable.. One thing I hated was the pockets that hold your water bottle is to hard for you to get in and out. My arms are to short.. I had to buy bottle holder to put on my pack.. It held up 180 miles of rough hiking.. Hip belt pockets are small but does hold snacks.. I recommend this back pack. ... show more

Took it for a 2 week trek through Eastern Europe and the Alps, held 5 thermal shirts, 2 pairs of tights, 2 pairs of jeans, and all of my daily necessities without problems. Love Osprey brand. This pack is great--I used it as my only luggage for 8 days in Bali and it held everything I needed weightlessly on my back and was able to bring home a few gifts. The color is true to the picture

Used this for a one-night backpacking trip in the White Mountains in NH. It was perfect! Plenty of space for everything I needed. Great compartment for sleeping bag. Love the integrated rain cover. Originally got an XS but ended up switching for a S/M because I have a long torso.
