Osprey is a high quality brand - and you get what you pay for. The pack has all of the right features for the day hikes I have planned. This price was comparable to what I was seeing in the outdoor stores, but had the color that I really wanted. I highly recommend that you go to a store and be fitted for a backpack and really check out the features. The Osprey packs are adjustable so you can make it fit to your torso. In this pack I appreciate the pole straps, the small snack pockets on the waist and the adjustable chest strap so it fits just right. The hydration system is easy to use and clean -no issues. I find I stay more hydrated when its as easy as sipping, and I don't have to pull out a bottle (although I always keep a collapsible bottle for refilling, just in case.)

I cannot get over how awesome this backpack is!! I have no idea why not enough people recommend it because it is absolutely perfect! First of all it comes complete with a water bladder, that saves the trouble of finding a bladder of such high quality that would also fit perfectly and attach via magnet to the front. Secondly, it has many compartments where one can place items that need to be reached for during the hike, saving the trouble of having to stop and open the backpack. Thirdly it is so aesthetically pleasing and designed to perfection. Osprey have a masterpiece in this one. Worth every penny!

When it comes to bags Osprey is way above the rest on contoured straps and harness. The new updates are really amazing. The chest strap is magnetic and our daughter has one hand so she can use this without assistance. The water bottle was brilliant-hanging it from the top of the internal frame displacing the weight to the top of the bag. The bag stretch pouch is much needed. The color scheme is amazing. The size is perfect. The more I look at it the more I love it. Nobody makes a better bag and I gots lots.

We bought this and a dedicated camera backpack to compare side by side. It was no comparison. This Osprey outclassed the other bag in every way possible: looks, comfort, weight, adjustability, durability, quality, functionality. And the crazy thing? It cost of nearly half of what the other bag cost. What an incredible value! This bag + a camera insert = photographers dream bag. My 5 month pregnant wife took this on the Camino de Santiago averaging 20 miles a day and had zero issues with it. Loved the reservoir, the comfort, the breathable mesh, etc. Now I just need to convince her that I need and Osprey, too! Thanks, Osprey!
