Assembly was easy, sturdy unit, would buy again.
Color: Black
Size: Heavy Duty-69"H*36"W
I’m not sure why there are so many reviews with people complaining about the assembly. I had it taken out of the packaging (which was more than adequate), put together, and wiped down in about an hour. The instructions were very clear. It’s a book shelf, there’s a bottom, a top, two sides, and five shelves, it’s not that complicated. It’s well made, the pieces went together well, and it’s very sturdy. I would buy it again, great unit for the price and build quality.

Would buy again!
Color: White
Size: Heavy Duty-69"H*36"W
Love, love, love!! They look very nice in my office and they are very sturdy. I bought 2 and may even buy another. They look great in my home! Definitely worth the money and a large storage capacity with the ability to move the shelves around easily. Easy to put together.

I bought a second one
Color: Black
Size: Heavy Duty-69"H*36"W
I am an omnibus collector so I shopped around for a bookshelf that could actually hold the weight of the massive books without bowing. I have rows of omnibuses lined up with no shelf sagging and a nice ledge in front to put my funko pops and other knick-knacks. This bookcase's sturdiness and stability holds up to its value. You'll find the top of the bookcase isn't a completely flat surface, but unless you have something that will reflect a ledge along the center running along its width, its unnoticeable. I have plants on top and I don't notice it at all. It is super easy to install as well, not needing any extensive work done to it. Most of it is just slotting things together. I don't live anywhere with seismic activity so I didn't anchor it, so take that into consideration. Overall it has a nice, sleek aesthetic since it is metal. I'd definitely recommend the bookshelf at its discounted/couponed price. I don't think I've ever seen it listed at full price.

What I expected
Color: White
Size: 69"H*69"W
This bookshelf is pretty good. It's sturdy but it would be nice if the shelf holders were a little taller so that if you have a taller paperback book it will hold them upright better. The unit I received was slightly dented on one of the side panels but these days I don't expect these type of products to be delivered perfectly. It wasn't to difficult to put together but if your putting the screws in the top make sure the tops are inserted properly otherwise the screw holes won't line up. It looks like a metal bookshelf so if you want a cleaner look you might want to go with a REAL wood bookshelf not the fake wood ones.

The Perfect Shelves
Color: Black
Size: Heavy Duty-69"H*36"W
I was a little skeptical about the sturdiness based on the price of these, but holy cow am I thrilled!! To start, these are way easier to put together than I initially thought they'd be when we first opened the boxes. It took me and my boyfriend maybe 40 minutes to put together 2 of these bookshelves. Super easy and fast! I went with these ones specifically because of the customizable shelf sizing because both of us have a number of larger books the just won't fit on standard shelving. These are perfect for that! They did come with wall mounts, but as these are against our walls and we don't have any larger pets or kiddos who would be a risk, we chose not to mount them. The shelves are definitely sturdy enough without them for our needs. I could not be happier and will definitely be ordering more when the time comes to expand our shelf space!

Simple, sturdy, and looks great
I bought a couple of these to see how I'd like them before buying more. I figured I could hide them away in the storage room for shelves there if nothing else, or maybe in my office if they were a bit better than that. I'm going to buy more, and they're going in the library at the front of the house. I might get some for those other places too. Assembly is quick for one person. These aren't as heavy a gauge of metal as Steelcase or Hon. They might take a dent easier if you're rough around them, but your wallet will take a much smaller dent than with those brands. They look great, they're sturdy loaded with books, they weigh a lot less than those MDF units, and they should safely disassemble and reassemble for a move. They arrive well packed with the parts nested for a smaller box.

Great bookshelf, excellent customer service
Color: White
Size: Heavy Duty-69"H*36"W
Ordered this item in white and it looks clean and sharp in contrast against our green walls. Unpretentious, sleek and contemporary. Very easy to assemble and the design makes it a snap to adjust the shelf height. Absolutely no bolts, dowels or toolkits as all the pieces interlock, making this drop dead simple. The modular ability to expand the bookshelf library style without the cost of another full shelving unit is a design plus. I have not tested the weight bearing claims of each shelf but this is sturdy solution if you have a lot of books to store and display. My original shipment had what appeared to be packing and/or shipping damage upon opening the carton it came in. I contacted the retailer through Amazon and customer service bent over backwards to resolve the issue within hours. I am very happy with the item and the professionalism of the seller. Strongly recommend.
