I just had surgery to completely remove an ingrown toenail. I have very wide feet and thick ankles. Pressure on the toe from stockings or regular shoes has been causing extreme pain. These sandals are great. Lots of support and more substantial than flip flops. Adjustable at every fit point. No problem fitting the bandaged foot into the sandal and tightening the toe strap and ankle strap to a snug comfortable fit. Once I'm healed up I can adjust them a little tighter. I will probably buy more in different colors. First pair of velcro strap shoes I've had which actually have enough length in the straps to fit me properly. These check all my boxes. Accurate sizing. All the straps are adjustable and cushioned, so no rubbing anywhere, including my baby toe. Footbed is sueded fabric, so no sticking to the bottom of my feet. Moderate arch support. I was concerned support might not be adequate, but it works because the footbed is so cushioned. I wore these sandals for the first time today. They must be the most comfortable sandals I've ever owned. I knew that they were going to work as soon as I tried them on and I'm happy to report that they remained very comfortable all day. I have wide feet, numbness from bunion surgery on the left foot and a bunion on the right foot. I usually wear a 6 1/2, and I ordered these in a six wide. The sole is very cushiony and supportive, and the straps are all adjustable with Velcro. The brown color is attractive, with brown, black and bone on the straps. They are nice looking, not orthopedic. They come with two plastic arch support inserts, but I don't see how they would work with sandals since they are made to go inside of shoes. I do like the arch support and they are generally very comfortable. They do seem to run big. I ordered my norm 7.5W. The width is fine but they are long and the straps wont tighten enough around my ankles.

I wear an 11, sometimes an 11.5 so i bought the 11…this sandals seemed ok at first but then 2 days into wearing it after it relaxed a bit, realized that it was about a half size too big. I could have returned it, had i bought it straight from their website as they allow a 60day return even after it is worn but Amazon doesnt allow for that. It is definitely comfortable but pay attention to the sizing as u may need to size down a bit to get ur perfect fit. ... show more
