We're looking for a new entertainment center and I came back to this product to get an idea of similar products, and felt compelled to leave a review for this table. Obviously breaking my hand was never the intentional use for this table, but it speaks to the quality of the wood. There was no dent nor damage done to the integrity of the table. This coffee table is definitely sturdy. I’ve had it for about 3 months now and have zero complaints on that end. I put it together by myself in about 45 minutes. It was a little tricky (and heavy) trying to get the bottom shelf and the table top to rest at the proper angles while screwing the legs in. Because of that, one of the screws went in at the slightest of angles only a quarter of the way in and very easily cracked the wood but if you have someone helping you out and holding the legs in place then that shouldn’t be a problem for you. The crack is small and hasn’t spread so far and it’s underneath the table so I didn’t feel a need to return. I also spilled a couple dots of nail polish remover on the top which easily (and obviously) stripped the varnish so don’t be stupid like me and use it to paint your nails. It’s definitely a darker and more red color than the picture shown but it works fine for my living room. I’m very happy with it given the price. Now my issue is finding an entertainment center that will match it. ... show more

    • Beautiful table! Don't overtighten!

Many reviewers said their table had cracked or split but we've had ours for a couple months and it's been perfect. I think the issue some may have is overtightening the hardware. When assembling, finger-tighten just enough to hold it in place until all sides have fasteners, then tighten everything down evenly. Do not tighten one screw then try to force the others to fit - do a little on each until everything is snug. Don't overtighten the screws or it will put too much strain on the wood and break it. All in all this is a beautiful table, real wood (not veneer). Great value for the price! ... show more

We’re happy with this coffee table, definitely rustic, fairly easy to put together, though it took 2 of us to make it easier. Some reviews said holes weren’t lined up, we found it better “not” to make the bottom shelf tight until we got it all together, that helped a lot. I’m considering also getting the end table to match. Good table for the price, hope to get a few years out of it. Another nice feature, the feat have special screws to balance the table, it made a difference. Very nice. Need to update this...I did just put together an end table to match the coffee table, with help. I do really like it, however there was a big chunk out of the top piece underneath that I’m not happy about. I’m keeping it as I do not have time to try sending it back, and wait for new one. I am facing it towards my sofa as not to see it. I do like both products. Though the company should be more careful when packing. ... show more

Over all it does the job I need it too. BUT it is really cheap wood, the metal legs are thin af, and the top of the table is curved/cracked. A 5 year old easily picked this table up and moved it so it is hella light. I got this for our second living room upstairs and we only use it to maybe place our drinks on it occasionally so it works out. It’s the definition of looks pretty feels cheap. ... show more

Bought this several years ago and have really enjoyed it. The finish isn't very durable and has come off in spots from use and spilled beverages, but with its rustic look it still looks great. Worth the money for the look.

I like this table, but it is definitely more rustic than the photos imply. My table has an uneven surface and several sharp and deep dings in it (see photos). That ends up working out OK for my intended use, but if I had been expecting a smooth top, I would have been disappointed. In the end, I'll end up putting some decorative items on the table that will cover/take away from those blemishes. It was easy and quick to assemble. It's a good value for the price. Minus one star because I feel the legs could be just a bit thicker. Assembly tip: get ALL of the bolts in and finger-tighten them, then tighten them all down at the end with the included Allen wrench. I started out by tightening as I went, and had to go back to loosen them so I could get everything to line up properly. Keeping them all loose to start would have saved me a little bit of time. ... show more

Husband and daughter easily assembled it in less than 15 minutes. It looks expensive, and I love the bottom shelf for storing Febreeze stuff :P it goes great w| my colorful living room. Only negative is that you CANNOT clean w| paper towels as the scratchy/uneven surface of the top snags on the paper towel and leaves white pieces all over. Real pain-only did that once! Lesson learned, otherwise it’s a good table! ... show more
