Color: Small Comfort Wand (1-Pack)
Incredibly effective!! Has helped me transform the weeds in my yard to get rid of them and maintain a weed free area after I removed the initial round of weeds. I have shrubs with weeds, Ivy and poison ivy growing through them and this product has been a life saver!! I can’t recommend enough!! It works quickly and effectively. The sprayer and nozzles all work well and it’s easy to hold the container and use the wand while spraying my weeds. It is so effective you need to make sure you’re spraying in accurate areas as it will damage and kill whatever it does contact. This is why I really appreciate the product container and attachments arriving in good working condition!

Color: Small Comfort Wand (1-Pack)
I've used several weed killers over the years, and Ortho GroundClear has become one of my favorites because it combines fast results with an easy-to-use application system. It's a great solution for keeping weeds under control around driveways, walkways, landscape beds, and other areas where unwanted growth tends to appear. One of the biggest advantages is how quickly it works. I started noticing visible results within a short time after spraying, especially on younger weeds like dandelions, chickweed, crabgrass, and other common nuisance weeds. It made spot-treating problem areas much easier since I could quickly see where the product had taken effect. The Comfort Wand is easily one of the best features. The battery-powered sprayer provides a steady, consistent spray without requiring constant pumping, making larger jobs much less tiring. The wand feels durable and well constructed, and the trigger is comfortable to hold during extended use. Being able to simply point and spray allows for much more precise application while reducing fatigue, especially when treating multiple areas around the yard. I also appreciate its versatility. I've successfully used it around mulch beds, patios, sidewalks, driveways, fence lines, under trees, and other landscaped areas where weeds frequently appear and I can see the growth of vegetation is nonexistent. The ability to target specific weeds without mixing concentrates or carrying separate equipment makes routine yard maintenance much more convenient. Another feature I like is that the formula becomes rainproof once it has dried, providing added confidence when the weather forecast is uncertain. The ready-to-use gallon container is also convenient—there's no measuring or mixing, so it's ready to go right out of the box. The overall quality of the sprayer system exceeded my expectations. The bottle is sturdy, the wand feels durable enough for repeated seasonal use, and the battery-powered spray system delivers a consistent pattern from start to finish. Everything works together smoothly and makes treating weeds much easier than using traditional hand-pump sprayers. Overall, Ortho GroundClear delivers dependable weed control, excellent ease of use, and a high-quality spraying system. The fast-acting low odor formula, durable Comfort Wand, battery-powered convenience, and versatile applications make it an outstanding product for maintaining clean, weed-free outdoor spaces. If you're looking for an effective weed killer that's simple to use and provides professional-looking results, I would definitely recommend it.

I was looking for a good quality weed killer that works fast and is pet friendly and safe. I put my money on the Ortho, and it delivered. I sprayed this on weeds under my pool deck and within 15-20 minutes I could see the weeds starting to wilt. By the next day they were all brown and down.. The battery powered sprayer was easy to use and to apply in tight areas.

Not as good as I had hoped for, but does work eventually

Weed and grass killer works almost immediately. Battery sprayer is easy to use but spray volume of the chemical is very limited. Regular price is too high so only buy on sale.

Color: Small Comfort Wand (1-Pack)
I initially thought Ortho GroundClear was the ultimate answer to my weed problem (see my original glowing review below). The day after spraying, every weed was brown and dead-looking, and my gravel driveway looked totally brown. But after a few weeks, the weeds started coming back, even though I sprayed the product heavily. They’re not quite as thick as before, but the same spots are now covered again. I'm pretty disappointed that the results didn’t last longer after such an aggressive application. For the price and with all the warnings about how powerful this is, I expected more durable results. In summary: -Initial knockdown was dramatic; everything turned brown. -Regrowth happened faster than expected, within weeks. -The weeds are a bit less dense now, but still cover most of the same area. I would recommend it only if you’re okay with frequent reapplication. Safety tips still apply: Keep away from pets, wear gloves, and don’t spray near plants you want to keep. Original Review: I tried everything. Propane torch? Just gave them a warm hug. Salt? Turned my yard into a wildlife snack bar. DIY dish soap potion? Might as well have fed them protein shakes. Nothing worked until this glorious jug of destruction showed up. Ortho GroundClear means business. I hate using chemicals. But after my gravel driveway turned into a botanical uprising of weeds, I had no choice. This stuff sprayed clean, even, and consistently thanks to the battery-powered wand (which, by the way, lasted the entire gallon, 20 minutes of satisfying annihilation). The next day, the green was gone. The Earth turned brown. I'm continuing to watch the progress, but this has provided the best results I've had to date. If you’re tired of playing nice with weeds, this is your final solution. Five stars and a moment of silence for the crabgrass. Keep away from pets. Wear gloves. Do not spray near anything green that you want to live. Nothing survives this stuff.

Lately I have found that most weed killers don't seem to work well on my gravel driveway that hosts a worldwide weed conference every year. I spray the weeds, they wilt and recover. I have even used this product before and it didn't work as well. It sure does now! I sprayed in the morning and a few hours later every weed was taking it's last breath. I almost felt guilty that I was responsible for the decimation of so many living things all at once. I quickly got over it and continued the mass destruction on the brick walkways. The stuff works 100%

Subject: Defective Comfort Wand – Nothing Comes Out Hello, I purchased the Ortho GroundClear Weed & Grass Killer with Comfort Wand (1 gal) on August 27, 2026. This is the second time I’ve bought this product. The wand does not work at all. When I try to spray, nothing comes out of the nozzle, even after following the instructions carefully (priming, checking the lock, etc.). The bottle appears full and the trigger moves, but no liquid is dispensed. I would like to request a replacement or a full refund. Please let me know the next steps.
