Simple base for a floating deck

Just used these for a floating deck; 16 ft x 16 ft. Quality and fit are perfect. Install varied from joists on block to 4x4s and was super easy. Used 20 for this deck and it is sold as a rock.

Great foundation for desks so far

I used these to form a sturdy foundation for decks -- instead of concrete blocks or pillars. Treated 2x4s slipped tightly into the grooves. I used construction sand to level and adjust the blocks. I floated the timbers in the slotted blocks, but pre-drilled holes for anchor nails might be helpful.
