  • I love that the price of these stamps are low. I buy them all the time
Nothing

  • Math is hard for some folks.
These stamps are now required by Endicia, but they aren't stupid. If you do the math (correctly!) you'll come to the conclusion that these stamps are just over a penny apiece. If you use gasoline in your car, going to the Post Office multiple times to buy 800 stamps is not as economical as buying them here at this price. You be the judge... ... show more

  • There is no purpose in using endicia anymore
They must have increased the price even more, because as of this review they are over $0.10 per stamp, which is pretty useless for postage. At least with the previous dymo rolls the cost of the stamps was offset by the savings of printing your own instead of getting sheets of forever stamps. But now that savings is gone. And there's no guarantee that they won't just end support for these stamps whenever, so the claim that they have no expiration date is spurious at best. ... show more

  • 7-10 cents per label - ouch
labels are great, but the cost kind of messes up the benefit of using endicia

  • The cost per blank stamp is not your actual cost, right?
The current (May 2021) Post Office rate for a 1 oz 1st class letter is .55. The rate I pay through my Endicia account is .51. If I purchase 4 rolls of Endicia stamps, the cost comes to .07/blank stamp. Subtracting the .04 difference, my "actual" cost for the Endicia blank stamps is .03 each. I mostly mail letter size, but also mail quite a few large 1st class envelopes. For those, the Post Office rate is the same as the Endicia rate, so my actual cost for each Endicia blank stamp is .07. I mail from two to six pieces per day. I think it makes sense to keep Forever and Forever extra ounce stamps on hand for letter size. For large envelopes, I think the convenience of using a .07 Endicia stamp is worth not having to cobble together the the combination of postage stamps for one ounce ($1.00), two ounce ($1,20), three ounce ($1.40), etc. Please correct me if I'm missing something. ... show more

  • This refutes the 1 rating
Yes, I know that they are 9 cents a piece. No I don't like paying this much for them. But I tried the cheap ones and they jam at least once per roll and I lose the stamp, which varies anywhere between $2 and $6. That loss does not include my time to remove the jam from the Dymo machine.
