Place earring lifters on a firm and flat surface. Then insert a credit card or your fingernail in between the back clips to achieve the desired fit. Use your fingers to push the back clips together until you achieve the desired fit. If further tightening is required use needle nose pliers to gently increase the tension. When I first put them on I was happy. They held up my dropping studs nicely. They fit well - they snugly went onto my earring posts and seemed to be just right. But by the end of the 1st day, the backs no longer fit well - They were too loose. My earrings were falling off (I almost lost one of them). I believe the problem was that the metal is so cheap that they instantly stretched out to be larger than my earrings ... show more

The crown extension helps keep heavy earrings flat against the earlobe and stops them from drooping. Works better than any round disc I was able to find. And very (VERY) comfortable. Take a look at the before and after photo.

Poor quality. Fit not tight enough for my studs. I don’t feel comfortable using the backs with diamond or gold earrings. If you return Anchora Magic earring backs, they will return less money to you, not same cash amount that you paid. Not sure if it’s an Amazon or Anchora policy.
