As someone who absolutely loves fragrances, I've tried a ton of different scents, each with its own unique charm. I’ve really gotten into pheromone colognes, so I had to try the top two I’ve been seeing everywhere (1) Hypnosis by Cupids and (2) Her Loss by Top Shelf. Recently, I had the chance to try out Her Loss and compare it with Hypnosis, another pheromone-infused cologne that's known for its hype and unique scent. While both of these colognes are amazing and definitely grab attention, I've found myself leaning more towards Her Loss, and here’s why. Her Loss starts off with a vibrant mix of lime, pink pepper, and bitter galbanum that immediately catches your attention with its fresh and bold vibe. The heart of the scent is where it gets interesting, with rich spices like cinnamon and cardamom adding a warm, inviting touch. Finally, the base notes of smooth sandalwood and amber give it a lasting, masculine finish. This scent is truly magnetic, making it perfect for both day and night occasions when you want to leave a memorable impression. One thing I love about Her Loss is how long it lasts. It sticks around for hours and leaves a subtle yet unmistakable trail that always gets compliments.     • Set realistic expectations and it's alright.

I cannot verify that this works as far as pheromones go. As a cologne I asked 3 separate women in a blind test of this vs. Aqua Di Gio. All three gave the edge to Cupids. However, the scent doesn't have the staying power of premium colognes, and none of those 3 women left a puddle on the floor as the ads would have you believe. Overall it's a decent product, with overzealous marketing that creates unrealistic expectations, which then causes people to talk trash about it. It is priced on the high side for what it does and would be an easy recommend at around half its current price. If you're 300lbs and have poor hygiene and not a ton of money, this is not going to make a supermodel break into your mom's basement to have her way with you. If you are already viable in the dating pool, smelling good can put a finger on the scale in your favor. I have not experienced any leaking of the bottle, but it does feel like it's on the generic and cheaper side. ... show more

I give it an average score. It changes scents as it ages after you spray and the shirt lasting scent in the middle doesn't appeal to me. It reminds me of patchouli. The initial scent reminds me of a feminine scent, while the long lasting scent smells masculine. I have found this cologne to have a good a sent, but I would not buy it again for I have not gotten one comment about this. I get more complements on a cologne that I get for less than $8.00 elsewhere. Kinda costly for a normal sent and again no comments at all. It's like I don't even have it on.

I decided to get Cupid Hypnosis for my boyfriend since he needed a new fragrance, and wow, I noticed the change instantly! It's infused with pheromones, and honestly, I didn't think that would make a difference, but I was wrong. After just a few days, I caught myself leaning in closer, wanting to be near him more and constantly seeking his affection -- like it was instinct. Every time I wear Hypnosis 2.0, women notice. They’ll stop me, ask what I’m wearing, give me a hug — and then don’t want to let go. Some even bring their boyfriend or husband over and say, “You have to smell him!” It’s kind of wild. I’ve had groups of women take turns coming up just to get a whiff. They’ll say, “Oh my god, you smell so good,” and then tell their friends to come smell me too. It smells clean, smooth, and strong in a good way. Honestly. It’s just another cologne. I think it smells nice. The branding seems to be a bit exaggerated. Girlfriend says it smells “grandma sweet.” Would not argue that it’s the whole “pheromone magnet” that they say it is. I don’t mind it though. Probably wouldn’t buy it again.
