I am extremely happy with this tower! It is high quality and very very sturdy. Not only that, but it will add value to your boat. NOTE: NO instructions come in the box! Instructions can be found here: http://www.origintower.com.au/Installation-Guide/38 This project took me about 5 hours from start to finish and at times I needed help. First, I assembled everything I could on bottom rails and then mocked up the tower piece (see pictures). I made sure that I didn't tighten any of the screws down at first, that helped a lot with the install. I mounted the side rails first, making sure all the screws were showing on the inside (smooth side out). When I mounted the side rails, I started with the front mount first, then the back mounts. Once both side(s) rails were mounted, I had help to get the tower up and loosely mounted to the sides. After getting everything just right, I tightened everything up. As long as your patient, it will be an enjoyable project. I have much more to add to it, speakers, mirror, racks, etc. Enjoy! ... show more

Installed on a 1997 Maxum 1900 SR. HUGE improvement overall in the boat looks and functionality. Added a wakeboard rack and flag holder. Just having it to grab onto when getting in or out is worth it. Pulled 200lb wakeboarders behind and no problem. Great addition to the boat. Hard to install, take your time. We set it up in the garage before installing on the boat.Looked up pictures on-line to make sure we had it correct. Did a lot of shopping and think we saved about $600 or more and are very happy we did it. No regrets. ... show more

    • Sidebars must be perfectly verticle, we did not get instruction sheet.
I love how this fit our boat, 19' Sylvan Bowrider. Now there were NO instructions in the package, use pictures to figure out. Now be sure the side bars are perfectly vertical before trying to install upper tubes. I scratches the mess out of them still don't look bad.
