I like the concept of an extendable handle, however, the twist lock function of this handle is not very sturdy. Once you set it in the desired position, if you apply any additional pressure to the right or left of the rake as you are raking, it will either become loose and you will need to re-tighten it. Or it will strip the twist lock function of the handle. Maybe if the handle had a better locking feature it would be a better rake. But in my opinion it should only be used on light duty projects. I was not happy with this rake. I only used it twice before the twist lock of the handle stripped and would no longer tighten.

This rake is small and not very sturdy. I kept it to rake in tight areas around shrubs but went to a big box store to get a large much stronger rake.

I am a woman and I had to buy a new leaf rake because the previous one was too heavy for me. I bought the Orientools rake just some weeks ago, so I cannot say anything about its durability. However, it is really light weight and it is a pleasure to use it. I recommend it.
