first purchased this case oct 2023, and it has protected my phone fully. repurchased may 2024, 7 months later due to discoloring, but for the price and peace of mind, i don't mind. i would prefer if it didn't become discolored so quickly but security of my phone comes first, and it's often difficult to find good quality phone cases for an older model (11 pro). a month ago, i dropped my phone in a flower bucket, so the top was covered in about an inch of water for ~5 min. when found, i took it out of the case and put it in rice. my front camera doesn't work as originally intended, but i believe this case saved it from becoming nonfunctional at all and the camera does still work, just not faceid which i don't use anyways. it doesn't claim to be waterproof, but it does help prevent complete water damage in my experience. it is pretty difficult to figure out how to put it on your phone the first time, but after that you know it works and just takes a little more effort. it fits perfectly once you figure it out. be careful if you have nails. i have always preferred slimmer cases, however I gave in to more protection because life happens. i love the crystal purple color, it's less than $10 and i'll likely repurchase again in about 7 months. ... show more

One of my family members was the recipient of one of my old phones and the case I was using was nearing the end of it's life. The family member doesn't need any sort of super duper protection like I was using (OtterBox) and they like purple...well this case certainly does the trick for all that. It does hold up to dropping it from a standing position on a floor rug....several times now. No dents or scratches or anything of the sort there. The only thing that's the royal pain is the fact that it is a bit of a pain to get the case apart and then applied to the phone. The rubber around it came off with no problems, but opening the case was tough. Then, when you have to put the rubber on the case when the phone is installed takes some muscle. That's the price you pay for wanting to make sure you don't shatter your phone. Overall I like the case and if I had a routine job, I would get one....different color though! ... show more

    • Colored coating wears off easily.
Got it for wife's iPhone 11. New it was perfect. However after only a couple months the color started wearing off in places. Kind of like its a paint that isn't bonded well to the case so any kind of stress, like carrying it in a pocket will rub down the color.
