Whitney Farms® Organic Blood Meal is a nitrogen supplement for beautiful blooms and robust vegetables. This plant food promotes shoot and flower growth, and also refreshes nitrogen-depleted soils. Use to amend native in- ground soil for vegetables, flowers, and bulbs in your in-ground garden. To apply, simply mix blood meal into the soil, using 1 cup per every 20 sq. ft. or 1 tbsp per every 1 sq. ft. of garden area. Work plant food into the top 4 to 6 inches of soil for new plantings, or around the soil of established plants. Water to finish. For best results, apply every 2 months through the growing season.
