I have two favorite brands of honey, and Oregon Growers is one of them. This is pure honey--not extended with corn syrup as are many cheap grocery store brands. Its flavor is divine. It is slow to sugar. As pure honey goes, Oregon Growers is not very expensive. This honey comes from my backyard, the Columbia River Gorge. I like using a local honey versus one shipped from elsewhere. It’s the real deal so sometimes it’s actually solid because it’s chrystalized. I buy it whether still liquid or solid. The flavor is a revelation of wildflower and I like to eat it from a spoon to experience that. I also like that it’s in a glass jar! I can add hot coffee or tea to get the last of the honey out without a dose of plastic. Great stuff! ... show more

The taste is amazing and just perfect for tea or a spoonful when my kid is sick. It definitely is not as sweet and strong in flavor as clover honey so just FYI. Also, I love that it's been over a month and it doesn't even show signs of crystalizing. I bought another jar of the exact same size at a Farmers Market and it crystallized within weeks of purchase which drives me nuts!! ... show more

    • IMO not pure honey! Fructose corn syrup is in it.
Cant return this item! So wrong! It has a medicinal taste that’s awful! I’m diabetic. When I eat real pure honey 🍯 my sugar levels are normal. When I eat this honey my sugar spikes. IMO that means there is fructose corn syrup in it. I will NOT purchase this honey again!!

I know that taste is a very subjective thing so maybe it's just me but this honey tastes nothing like wildflowers--at least not the wildflowers I'm used to. It has kind of a licorice aftertaste that doesn't taste much like honey and the consistency of it is a bit like corn syrup. I'll use it up in whatever I can, but this fell below my expectations.
