Been effective for each of my 5 kids, right now in 1st-9th grades. Calm, straightforward layout, so nice to only have to write the subject headers once, plenty of room to write detailed lesson plans/assignment instructions if needed, and plenty of space to write in chore, extracurriculars , social activities, etc.

We have used these for 3 years in a row and so have my friends that have kids with ADHD. They work amazingly well with the style of planning. Plus if you go to their actually website, they have a great video that shows you how to use it the most effectively. That site also has a few accessories that really help take it to the next level as well, and that can be reused year after year (no, not just fun, cute stuff, but practical stuff that makes a difference). She sells the planners for the same price here on Amazon as on her site, but she doesn't charge shipping via Amazon :) Also note that both our friends and us have had success using these at the middle school and high school level. You will love it!

Really like that there are separate lines for each class/activity and that you only need to write it on outer flaps. There are month calendars included in the order of weeks but I think I’d prefer them in a separated portion. Overall recommend and will likely purchase again.

I use a mixture of electronic calendar planning and this just to hold myself accountable for my assignments. I will say this is a perfect beginners academic planner, it has big boxes for writing and they are lined so no guilty feelings after writing crooked. MonthlyTabs on the side and a book mark would help alot with navigation but that’s something you could do yourself with some sticky tabs from mr.pen. I wish they had different cover options with cute patterns, this would really take off. If they made a similar planner aimed towards nursing students they would also rake in the big bucks. Honestly outside of aesthetics this planner is perfect for your needs as a student. I would recommend this for middleschool and up. I had a similar planner in middleschool and it changed my life in terms of organization. Another thing that would really set this planner apart is a free sticker pack since it is so plain.

My kid’s teacher recommended this because of its set up and I agree. It helps kids stay organized and writing things down makes sure things get done. It’s also big, so it’s the same size as their folders (so it won’t get lost) and gives lots of room for messy hand writers.
