So far the earring is great, it was exactly what I was looking for that seamless cuff. I would recommend if you are getting it for your helix get the 8mm the 6 would be too small. The only downside is trying to snap it in place when you are putting it in. It was a struggle to close the clasp once it was in my ear. I had to use small pliers and tweezers to hold it in place and push in. This caused my ear a lot of irritation while changing it because of how hard it was to snap and I realized my piercing probably wasn’t as healed as I thought, so on me for that one. But it seems super secure and it’s really cute.

I bought these clickers to use as huggie hoop type earrings on my earlobes, because I apparently cannot wear normal hoops because my earlobes are too thick. Weird problem to have, I know, trust me. I have multiple other ear piercings (three cartilage and a rook) plus a nose ring, and they all have titanium or white gold body piercing jewelry in them, and all of my piercings were done by professional piercers. I am allergic to nickel, so I am typically very careful about the jewelry I buy. But I have worn a pair of dangly earrings of unknown (silvery) metal content once before with no problem, and the reviews seemed promising, at least, even though I knew "surgical steel" does not guarantee allergy free, so I was hoping these surgical steel clicker rings would not irritate me. Well, I was wrong... The next day after putting these in, my earlobes were a bit swollen and the piercing holes themselves looked a bit irritated, but I figured it was because of some trouble I had putting them in (I never switch out my earrings and I only recently got my ears pierced). The next day, it got worse. This is where things get kinda gross... After 3 days of swollen earlobes, cleaning off crust that formed around the piercings over night, and pus coming out of my piercings in the cleaning process, I admitted defeat and realized it was the metal of the hoops causing irritation after all, not just me irritating my earlobes while putting them in. I took them out, cleaned my earlobes well, put back in my studs (very difficult because my earlobes were swollen), and the next day my ears were basically back to normal. So yeah. I've learned my lesson about buying cheap jewelry online. It's cheap for a reason, and "surgical steel" means basically nothing. My piercers were right and I will stick to investing in high quality I will say though, the clickers did seem to be made well and did close solidly. So maybe if you have no metal allergies, these would be great for you. But if you do have metal allergies (or don't know if you have any metal allergies), avoid these clickers.
