I think it would be easier to just have a small & tall woman wear this and then let shoppers compare sizes. The product is nice but figuring the right size seems kinda hard. My wife wears large (because she's tall) but even then it was too small to wear around the house. 5'9 (Large size) she can't bend over appropriately. So I would imagine 5'9+ would be extra large.

I’ve ordered this item in several colors and couldn’t be happier. The item washes well and drys well and holds up nicely. The fabric is luxurious and the fit is fine. I ordered size large and it’s very roomy. I wouldn’t size down, because I look a roomy fit. For the price, this a great buy. I have bought similar items from a famous store and it costs twice to three times and the quality isn’t nearly as good.

This nightgown is very comfortable for sleeping in especially in the summer. My husband really loves me wearing this. My only complaint is that I keep having to readjust the adjustable straps after washing and sometimes when I first wake up in the morning
