Easy to install in an unlocked phone. We have a Samsung S9 back up phone that we use for international trips and buy a local SIM card. (If you have a newer phone you can use an eSIM, which sadly we couldn't use). Having Verizon, it's a great way to avoid their now $12 a day Travel Pass. Just put your regular phone on airplane mode and use your unlocked phone as a mobile Hotspot. This way we hook our Samsung S20's through the S9 and we have plenty of data with the 25GB card. We used the local wifi when possible to preserve data, but at the end of our 12 day trip we had still only used about 6GB! We were very pleased with the SIM card.

I followed all of the instructions to pre-register this SIM card a week before I travelled to Europe, but it did not work. The advertisement says that the card works in Estonia and Czech Republic, but it did not work in either of those countries. When I got to those countries, I received text messages from the SIM card company, but they were in Spanish, which I don't speak (it turns out that those messages wouldn't have been helpful anyway). Maybe the card works in Spain, but not all of the countries that the ad said they work in. So buyer beware, have a Plan B in mind for SIM cards when you travel to Europe.

Bought a two pack. We travelled to Austria, Czech Republic, Budapest and these worked very well. I can confirm these do not work in Switzerland, as stated. We had a layovervthere. Great coverage, excellent wifi speeds and allowed for hotspot tethering with my laptop. BUT..... something I did not see in the directions (maybe I just missed it) is there is a pin number and "PUK" number imprinted on the plastic card the SIM comes attached to. DON'T LOSE THIS CARD!!! When you insert the SIM and power your phone up it will ask for the SIM pin FIRST that is printed on the card, then it will prompt you for your normal startup pin. Then reboot and you should be good to go. If you type in the new SIM pin incorrectly 3 times, it will lock the SIM!!! You can get around this by then typing in the PUK number, also on the card. TIP: if you type in the SIM PIN wrong three times and then have to enter the "PUK" number, it will then prompt you to set your own pin for the SIM. I would still hold onto the card however if you set your own pin, just in case. All in all, very happy with these. Worked great. Just don't forget to activate at least two days before you leave for your trip. We activated about 4 days before we left. It will ask you what day to start activation when you fill the form out online.

I purchased a pair of these cards for use in two OnePlus 8T phones for use in Spain for three weeks. The data was used primarily for navigation with Google Maps, finding restaurants, email, and texting and calling using What's Ap. Using wifi when ever possible I used only 2 GB of data during our stay 23-day stay. The instructions require you to REGISTER THE CARDS AT LEAST TWO DAYS BEFORE arriving to your destination where they will be used (yes, while you are still in the US). I did this and installed the SIM cards on arrival. It was necessary to make some changes in the APN (phone settings) but the method for doing this was included with the instructions. It wasn't simply plug-n-play but it wasn't too difficult either. It is imperative that you KEEP AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS, along with the PIN NUMBER associated with each SIM card. We did have to reenter those PIN numbers on two occasions when we turned off our phones. They worked fine but I award 4 stars instead of 5 because it was bit fiddly—it did require you to follow the provided instructions carefully.

I have a dual sim phone, so I popped this sim in before I left, followed the instructions, powered the phone on when I touched down in Barcelona, entered the 4 digit pin and perfect! I had problems with my regular U.S. provider the first day or two, so this was perfect. It was far less expensive than using my U.S. carrier and it seemed as though the speeds were faster. I used this in Spain, Portugal and France. I believe that will all of the rideshares, search engines, facebook, etc I used less than 6GB in 16 days. I would do this again if even to have a back up for areas where my U.S. Carrier has a poor signal. If you have a phone with only 1 esim, just buy a cheap smart phone. Works great!

This eSIM was perfect for my summer trip to UK, Ireland, and Paris. I bought 4 , one for each family member and we still had plenty of data left after 16 days in Europe. Understand if your device is locked, you must first call your carrier to unlock your phone. This has nothing to do with the product. And If you still making payments on your phone, you must have a zero ( $0 balance) to request a device unlock with a carrier. Otherwise you won’t be able to use any eSIMs. Easy instructions with just one click on WhatApps to get your questions answered.

I had purchased this SIM card under the assumption that “5000 minutes” in the listing meant I could call anywhere in Europe with no problems. However, when dealing with issues with my airline I found that my phone didn’t work to call. Reaching out to the support line on WhatsApp, I was informed the SIM card only supports “free” calls (see screenshot), not any numbers that I needed to actually reach. This is highly misleading and I would advise not purchasing this SIM card. Just get an e-sim or one from an official vendor in the country you’re traveling to.

I got to Spain with this card and did what I had to register it before I got to Spain. When I went to Orange to finalize the registration but I couldn't. When the girl went to put in my information to register the number officially to my name and documents, she said that it was registered to someone else. Very odd indeed.
