I love Kate Spade planners. They are perfect. The reason why I have this one a 4 out of 5 is because of the size. It’s really small. The description said it was large and had different pictures of what the day to day actually looks like.

This hardcover planner feels sturdy, and the cloth cover looks stylish. The planning layout is great: monthly overviews plus weekly spreads give enough room for everything from appointments, to-dos, goals (there are goal-tracker and quarterly check-in pages included) without feeling cramped. The paper is thick enough so my pens don’t bleed through much. The planner also includes stickers and a pocket folder inside to stash receipts & notes. Note that this is more of a desktop planner than a portable daily planner. But for organizing a busy year, it’s excellent. Highly recommended if you want both function and style.

This is such nice planner and organizer - great, high-quality paper, and it's just incredibly helpful for organizing an ever-busy schedule. It's Kate Spade quality through and through, and looks great as a carry-along, or also just sitting open on a desk. The structure within makes it easy to keep tabs on right now, today, tomorrow, and months ahead, along with reminders to check-in and update. This has made it easy for getting away from an overly convoluted digital life across many platforms!

In an attempt to cut back on spending so much time in the digital realm this year, I decided that a printed planner would work rather nicely, and I still have that idea in mind. Here are a few things I like and don't like about this planner. Likes: -The cover is cute and the colors are vibrant. They are true to what you see on the screen. -The size is appropriate for tossing in a bag and doesn't take up a ton of space on a desk, making it a good one if you need to be on-the-go often, or plan to use this as an on-the-go backup to a larger, more detailed planner. -It has both weekly and monthly layouts within, allowing flexibility in making sure you're getting where you need to be on time. -Has features like quarterly check-ins. -Contains stickers that did appear to stay stuck once applied. -Tabs are helpful but don't overhang the planner and won't get snagged easily. -Pens did not bleed through the pages. Cons: -Pens DID smudge if not dry fully (as a left-hander, this was irritating). -Tried to do a little too much, holiday-wise (if you're going to include Indigenous Peoples' Day, you can probably get rid of Columbus Day, honestly), which ultimately ate up space in the already-small writing space. -Held together by the thinnest elastic known to man. This will absolutely snap after a few uses, and I am already planning on how I'm going to replace it and hold it closed, because... yikes. -While things like quarterly check-in pages are awesome, why not put them, well, quarterly? It's always so odd to me when these are in the very beginning or very end of a planner, leaving you to flip back and forth to actually utilize these when it's time, or forget they exist altogether. -It's clear this is designed by the upper-class. As much as I love having room for planning vacations, do those really need to be the FIRST pages of the planner? I'd love for these to exist... at the end, post actually-necessary-pages. -The quotes feel so basic and vapid. "Welcome, wellies," for April, "Let's defrost," etc. The worst offender is a "Layer up" in the fall that reads weirdly close to "Lawyer up" at a glance. I think the overall planner will suit my on-the-go needs, but it's definitely not something I'd repurchase or give as a gift, especially not at the high price point (at this point, you're paying that because it says Kate Spade on the front, I think).

Simple easy to use setup. Muted colors that make finding the months a breeze. Advertised as LARGE but I really feel like its a medium. 9"x7" is the right size to stuff in your purse or tote bag. I fit mine in the outside pocket of my laptop case. Spiral bound so just flip and fold. Only 1 pocket in front to stuff receipts or small papers. A few more would be nice. One page of stickers designed for a person who gets out and has a social life. There is a Goal Tracker and a Quarterly Check-in section which I have never had in a planner. I'm excited to try them out and would actually just be a great tool to keep on a clipboard. Heavy Duty cardboard cover. Spirals are strong. I know this planner won't fall apart during the year.
