I have raised garden beds and a dog. This is not always a good mix. He likes to lie in the beds because the soil is often warmer. I’ve tried various types of fencing but I’ve found that this particular product works well when I use it around the edge of the beds. It’s high enough and more dense than plastic deer fencing I tried previously. It has a thick enough weave to discourage him. And I think he doesn’t know what to make of the bright color! It’s tough enough to not tear and hold to stakes with zip ties, but I can trim it easily with scissors. It’s rigid enough to stay upright but light enough that it’s easily handled if I need to get to the bed myself. The best part is that it’s really easy to clean with a garden hose and then roll up for storage. It’s versatile enough for all kinds of other uses around here. Temporary fence repair, outside materials cover, open hole boundary, sapling support, do-not-cross type situations, etc. It’s one of those things you didn’t know you needed so much until you had it. Five stars!

I allow my chickens into my garden in the summer; however, there are areas with plants that I need to keep them away from. For example, they can't eat uncooked beans, rhubarb, or tomato leaves. I have some pathways created in the garden now, and I'm going to use this safety fencing to create more of these passive fenced areas so that the chickens can meander around in the pathways and areas that I want them in. The chickens are beneficial to the garden because they like to eat pests like squash and potato beet;es, and tomato worms. They also like to scratch and turn over dirt to get worms, and this helps aerate the dirt. We're in mid-winter here in Connecticut, so I put a couple up so you could see what I'm talking about. The fencing isn't staked; it's put in place to demonstrate. Can hardly wait till spring! Great product for this type of thing!

We’ve been really happy with this orange safety fence. It comes rolled and folded, so at first it looks about 2 feet tall, but once you unfold it, it’s the full 4 feet wide and 100 feet long. The bright orange color is super high-visibility, which is exactly what we wanted. We use it at the bottom of our slope to keep pets (and kids) out of treated areas when we apply pesticides, and it works great for containment. It’s sturdy, weatherproof, and flexible enough to roll back up and reuse when we’re done. Just note that it doesn’t come with posts or stakes, but it does include zip ties. Overall, it’s durable, reusable, and very versatile—highly recommended for any kind of temporary barrier or safety fencing.

This was a nice temporary fence for growing grass or blocking an area off. it isn't going to keep any critters or animals out of the area. the only thing is it came folded in half in its package making it harder to deal with than if it it had been rolled in a solid roll but I understand this was for ease of shipping.

This is the perfect barrier to mark my field. When the man comes to cut the grass or do some spring cleanup he always gets too close to my personal garden. This year he can't claim he didn't see this bright orange 4ft high by 100ft long barrier stretched out in the edge of our fields. I've lost many plants and trees over the years because of this. You tell them to stay so many feet away from a certain tree or land marker and for some reason they cut or mow right up to it. Not this time. This is the perfect solution to my problem.

I used this orange safety fence to patch a hole in an old section of chain-link fencing behind my shed where my dog was getting into the neighbor’s yard, and while it’s not pretty, it absolutely did the job. It was easy to cut, simple to attach using the included zip ties, and the material is thick and sturdy enough that you can’t tear it by hand. The bright orange color is very visible, which would also make it useful for marking boundaries or hazards. It unrolled flat with no curl, has been holding up outdoors for about a week with no issues, and leftovers store neatly on the roll. Overall, it’s an excellent temporary solution and I haven’t found any drawbacks so far.
