I purchased this saxophone a while ago, after reading the ONLY TWO REVIEWS. This was TERRIBLE! The weld on one of the keys was broken, and it couldn't play a decently-toned note if it tried! Not only was the plating on the keys cheap, but the reed barely played at all! I had to use my alto reed to make a sound out of it! I quickly sent it back, and was outraged that there was a 20% deduction from your full refund! I paid around $745 for it, and only got $550 back! DO NOT BUY THIS SAXOPHONE! I bought this for my son who is still a beginner but good enough now to get away from the junk the school has to use. I am soooo please with this instrument. Of course the sounds is most important but it is GORGEOUS! Looks very high dollar. And the sounds is excellent as well- Nice, full, rich tone. It comes with a very solid and good looking hard case.     • Unique look and beautiful sound
The only down side was the reed was loose in the case and got chipped. Luckily we had already ordered a 5 pack before this beauty showed up. The black and copper are a great combo.

    • case is not good quality
The instrument itself works well. Sounds great and my kid is happy. However the case is another story. First time carrying it around lightly and the handle completly fell off. I contacted the seller and they refused to replace the case unless you return everything all together which is a shame when you know the intrument itself is working great.
