Great color.
Had my pedicure last week and this is the perfect color for fall going into winter. Love OPI. You can’t beat the coverage and quality.

OPI is great polish.
I usually buy the Infinity Shine. Just that I wasn’t happy with my choice of color. Long lasting

Needed More Purple
Malaga wine is a deep burgundy. In one coat, you can see it's pink-purple undertones, but 2 coats or more and it starts looking more reddish brown. Dried with 2+ coats, Malaga Wine is the color of dark red kidney beans which isn't my favorite. Vintage Malaga Wine from the 1990s used to be a crelly (creme-jelly hybrid), which gave it the opacity and a juicy wet finish upon drying. Current Malaga Wine is a creme finish, opaque in 2 coats and flat. To solve for adding back the pink-purple tones and make Malaga Wine look more like it did in its early golden era, I used 1 coat of Malaga Wine + 2 coats of Zoya Paloma (jelly). It is now perfect - more red wine than kidney bean! 😁 As far as longevity, this isn't a manicure-in-a-bottle. You will need base coat like Orly Bonder to adhere the polish to your naturally oily nail beds. You will also need top coat and to cap your free edges (paint lightly across the edge of the nail). I recommend ILNP Glass Candy for a hard clear top coat.

Perfect sparkly color..
Love, love, love this color, I use it as an accent color on a couple nails and it really makes my nails sparkle. I usually use this with a soft pink/blush color or even nude color and then paint the Rally Pretty Pink on my ring and/or thumb as accent nails (it kind gives it a rose gold tone which I LOVE) It's very subtle but feminine at the same time. I have used this color on my whole hand and like it as well, but prefer to use it as an accent color. I love the look. I started looking for other sparkly OPI colors to combine with other shades.

Darker than pictured
Darker purple versus the more red hue I thought it would be.
