I am OBSESSED with the OPI GELement system and polishes. Hands down the best DIY gel nail system out there. My polish lasts for weeks and look professionally done. I love this kit! The first time I used this kit, my nails lasted a whole week. The second time I did it, they lasted a week and a half. I love being able to do my nails at home. This kit ends up paying off for sure! Saves me money, and I get to do my nails without having to go into a salon! I love it! I ordered the gel color Funny Bunny- my favorite go-to everyday color! Looks good!

Doesn’t fully cure each coat of gel polish without several cures, but pretty good system overall for the price. Gel prep wipes are truly an enhancement for my manicures and does a great job wiping up any nail grit after filing/buffing. Not advertised as a part of this system, just a personal experiment, but I’ve tried using with apres gel x tips and extend builder gel, and does not work well with that at all— would consider another lamp if that is what you are trying to do.

This is the coolest kit. It might not be the best one, but I don't know because this is my first do it yourself kit. It gave me what I wanted. The hard, thickness to protect my nails. Adorable colors so far!! I am at 10 days with my first set of doing it myself, and it looks great!!! Love, love, love!!! The best part is, using it one time pays for it, second time of using it will make it free!!

These are SO bad. I’ve been going my own gel nails for over 6 years and never have I had a gel polish that smelled this bad. No matter what I did, cured longer, tried whipping at the end, the smell of chemical would stay on my nails until I took them off. So much so it woke me up in the middle of the night and I had to take them off. Also felt rubbery, or sticky but weirdly rubbery, for example o couldn’t scroll on my phone because my nail would get caught on the screen. Very disappointed because I’ve been using OPI gel polish for a long time and never had that issue with their regular gel line. I guess the more expensive stuff is better but coming from the same brand it is disappointing. Overall the lamp is very small, can barely fit the 4 fingers in, cannot judge on the quality of the base coat for now but I have ordered the regular OPI gel top coat and will try the base coat with it to see if the smell also comes from it.
